Wow I just can't believe how quickly it got here, super fast to be quite honest! Does that mean the faster it comes, the older we are getting? Because I could swear time went super slow when I was in high school hehe. I guess so. So today, we opened up day 1 of our advent calendar, woohoo this is so much fun. You know the reason I say it's so much fun is because I never really got to do it as a child. We had our own customs, and well I'm glad I got to do something different. I do miss the old ways though, and if I could remember half of them, I'd continue doing them. I spoke with my sister today, she told me that her doctor (that asshole), hadn't scheduled her to see a specialist for a cat scan and x-rays. Well come to find out, she wasn't referred because that doctor hand been fired, for God knows what. So makes me wonder, why wasn't Continue Reading
Happy Holidays
Yeah it's that time now, I can officially say "Happy Holidays" hehe. Our Thanksgiving was so much fun, I got to visit a really nice part of Boston, such huge houses, my ankles weren't like me too much, part of the sidewalk felt it as at an angle and with my shoes, it just hurt my ankles, I was so glad to get off my feet. I will be using those shoes very little. I still love them though. So spending Thanksgiving at Williams Aunt and Uncle's house was really nice, different from the usual. What is usual hey? My last 5-7 Thanksgiving have been so different, really ever since my mother passed away (God rest her soul), has been different, and I knew from then on it would be. But you try to do the best you can. William is in my life now, and it's all just wonderful. After dinner, they surprised him with a little birthday cake, that was a Continue Reading
Happy Thanksgiving
It's upon us, it's like tomorrow! Yeah Thanksgiving. This year we are going to Williams uncle Steve's house to have a super nice Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been there, so I will feel awkward as I usually do lol. I had a blouse picked out for Thanksgiving, I tried it on last night, and didn't like how it looked, so I was a bit disappointed about that. So have to pick another, which I'm okay with, it's a cheery looking blouse. Hope it's not too cold tomorrow or I'll freeze my ass off in it. I have been wanting to get another coat, for just going out, not really being in the snow or anything. Like going to dinner, and taking it off in a restaurant or house, you know what I mean. We ladies seem to want a coat for every occasion hehe. So anyway, since I may not be home much of the day tomorrow, to be quite honest I don't even know Continue Reading
Holidays Roll In
Looks like it's finally that time of the year, when the Holidays roll in and just pop up one after another. Are you ready? I'm not sure if I am. I think I am. I've gotten a head start on getting Williams Christmas gifts so I'm happy with that, his birthday passed in October so that is taken care of. First is Thanksgiving, we aren't making our own, we're going to his Uncles/Aunts house for Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been there, so it'll be a new experience for me. My first year here in MA, I spent at home with William, we made our own lovely Thanksgiving dinner, I enjoyed that very much. The second year, we spent at his Mothers, and this year will be at his Uncle/Aunts, so it's been pretty fun. I still feel like an outsider, but that's just me. He had a nice family. I don't see them much except for Holidays, so it's always nice Continue Reading
Awesome Adirondack Camp
I can remember back when I was a kid and went camping, how exciting it sounded, and how much I wanted to go, but at the same time I thought about being away from my parents, and missing them terribly. Well soon after arriving at the campgrounds, everyone made it so incredibly amazing and fun, that I soon forgot (not forever though) about missing my family. I enjoyed my time there so much, I wanted to return every year. So of course having those wonderful experiences, made me think of how my kids would love to go and have a wonderful, no an absolutely awesome experience as I did. There are some really great camp grounds in New York to send your kids too, I would definitely consider Adirondack Camp, they have so many great activities, by the way, even some I didn't get a chance to do, that I would love to do now hehe. Such as, rock Continue Reading
