Best Oldies Songs Ever

April 30, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So I was reminiscing earlier today as we drove around, we took a nice drive around today, I had a nice time! Anyway as we drove around, we listed to the radio a bit, and usually I'll want to listen to some rock, so I do what I do so best, I went switching around the stations and we came upon a radio station where they were playing the best oldies songs ever! As I mentioned earlier I was reminiscing. I was remembering when I was in high school and Jr. high school, and the school would hold the annual 50's dance, omg I remember it so well. When I was in Jr high I didn't care much about it, but when I was in high school that was a whole different thing. I remember asking my dad to make me a poodle skirt and he did. OMG I have a photo somewhere hehe. Seriously, I remember going to thrift stores, trying to find a pair of oxford shoes, OMG Continue Reading

Hello March

March 1, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

And with March here now, are we going to see some lovely warm weather? I hope so. As I look through the window I see the sun casting some love onto the house, yes some nice sunlight, ahh I can just imagine how warm it feels on my skin. I am looking forward to the warmer days ahead! Then before you know it, I'll be complaining about how hot it is lol. So I've been doing my eBay thing, not only selling, but buying a few things as well. And honestly one thing that really pisses me off is that fact people don't like to mention that something runs a smaller size than the actual size. I mean how hard it is to be 100% honest with someone, that just really gets to me. I guess this is why people are leary about eBay, but you know, you can keep on top of things, and ask a million questions. Lol. I know you shouldn't have to but sometimes you have Continue Reading

Lose Track Of Time

February 26, 2011 by Emily 1 Comment

I think this happens to us all. We want to accomplish so much in a day, maybe even make a list of what you want to do, but for some reason, you get sidetracked and there goes your goals for the day. This has happened to me over and over, time and time again. I can't get my head around it, makes me kind of mad. Especially when there are things I really want to get done. If it isn't a phone call it's a text, if it isn't that, it's a message online, if not that, then some other type of distraction. I mean honestly it seems like time gets shorter as we get older, because at the end of the day, nothing seems to get done, it's aggravating! So I'm very happy, we finally decided to break down and get cable, we were holding out for FIOS TV but it didn't ever seem to get here, so no going back now. Next weekend they will be here to install the Continue Reading

Warmer Days Ahead

February 16, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I think winter will be over soon. We are suppose to have some spring weather coming, so that will be something nice to look forward to. One of my websites was down for awhile or maybe most of the day yesterday. There was some problems with my usage, I'm being told that my website is using up a lot of resources, I'm also told that it's probably one or more of my wordpress plugins, so I need to find out which ones take up the most, and I will have to probably stop using it or them. I know it sucks, but with my personal site, my hosting plan is a small one, and I am in no position to upgrade at all. So I am going to try to do this, a few plugins shouldn't make a difference. Anyway so now I need to go through my plugins see what I really want to keep and what is not taking up the resources so I'm not suspended again lol. I know it's not Continue Reading

Happy February!

February 3, 2011 by Emily 1 Comment

So according to Punxsutawney Phil has predicted we are going to have an early spring, that must make lots of people happy. I am happy to know this, but in some ways I wanted more snow. We were suppose to get snow today, but nope, only rain, BORING!!! Hehe. So I think I am going to want to start saving up for a deposit for a dog, because I really want one, and come spring it'll be so much fun walking him (yes I want a boy), not that I wouldn't walk him in the winter lol. I even have his name picked out, William already knows, not telling anyone else either. So it's the month of love. Imagine how much money is going to be spent on Valentine's Day, gosh millions maybe even billions lol, am I exaggerating? Perhaps, but it's possible. So I need to put a little rush on my babes vday gift(s) lol. May be more than one. Hmm wonder what I'll get Continue Reading
