I was just chatting to Chris on MSN, when my twitter thing popped up with someone posting a link to something, and I asked myself I don't remember following anyone with BAFAB, so nosey me goes to see what it is (i finally did recall following them). Well every year apparently they hold a Buy a friend a book every quarter, so it would be held on January, April, July and October, so yeah it's like 5 days until the week of BAFAB, the whole concept really is to promote reading, and friendship. So during this week, you would (if you participate), buy a friend a book, not for any special occasion, it should be a "just because" reason, imagine the shock they will have!! Updating & a Bit Bored
Firstly I seen this movie, Unleashed, which is also called Danny the Dog, I looked for this movie for ages before I found out that its name was Danny the Dog haha. I really enjoyed this film, it's the first film I've seen when Jet Li is actually emotional, and shed some tears, so that was really nice to see. I recommend that film. Moving along, is it me or does it just seem to be like boring today? Its one of those days, that you have a lot to do, and want to do it but don't know where to start and the thought of starting or finishing just sounds boring. I guess I need some excitement in my life, I have none at the moment. BB9 Marathon
I didn't get a chance to really watch Big Brother 9 as it came out, so I am trying to catch up with what has been going on, so I have been watching Big Brother 9 on Youtube, if it wasn't for Youtube I'd be losing out lol. Anyone watch Big Brother in England? Anyway so that's something I've been doing the past 2 days. Really it started one morning, Al got on my laptop to watch the news, and she was watching something about some one arguing and being ejected from Big Brother, and I finally woke up to listen, and since then I have been watching it, because I wanted to see the build up to the point of whatever it is she said, to get herself ejected. Firefox 3 Is Out!
Yes!! The new Firefox is out and I installed it not too long ago. I really like the new look, sad thing is that some of my plugins don't work, like IE Tab and Gmail Skins, and a few others :( but thats okay. I still like the new one. I was chatting to Chris online, and we were looking to see when the new version would be out, so we just looked around read a few articles, then I found one at the NY Times and it had a link so I said why not. Chris had told me earlier that there was only a beta out, but then I said. The article says that it came out today. So we're all YAY!!! Let's go get it! So we went looking, I went to the official website and it still said Firefox 2, so I'm all sad :( but Chris said that it said Firefox 3, so I reloaded the page and there it was Firefox 3, I'm all YAY again! Happy Father’s Day
Another one rolling around already, wow it comes and goes so fast. I seem to always repeat myself when it comes to holidays, I say things like "time is going too fast, someone slow it down" yeah like that lol. But even if they repetitive, it's just so true. So today is Father's Day. I'm in England, and my father is in America. We have a funny relationship, well not funny just not cool I guess. We are not close, I mean I love my father, don't get me wrong. But as an adult and after my mother passed away God rest her soul, he has become distant. When my mom was around, sure he took some interest but not like most dads would. That kind of made me feel sad. So after mom passed away in 2001, you would think it would make us closer?
