Happy Mother’s Day – Missing My Mom ~ I Love You!

May 8, 2016 by Emily Leave a Comment

How fast does time go by, gosh I feel I am always saying that. Well let's not make this post too sad, but I wanted to wish all the Moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day and everyone who has stepping in to be a mother to someone that does not have one, you are all blessings. I lost my mother some time ago, and this day is always sad, as I do not have children, except for my pets, so I don't know what it feels like to be a mother. I am sure it is the most amazing feeling. I just want to remember my mother on this day, celebrate it with a happy heart, and wish everyone says they love their mother, even if they are on bad terms, I know it is easier said than done, but try at least, one day you may regret it. Find forgiveness in your heart. Ok enough of that now. Enjoy your day. Mom I love you, I am always thinking of you, so many Continue Reading

Happy 4th of July

I know I have been MIA! I promise that is going to change, I need to baby my website, and keep people up to date :) But enough of that. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy and safe 4th of July, yay! I am spending it with the love of my life, with our kitty Daisy at home. I don't feel comfy leaving her at home alone, and hearing all the loud bangs I know will scare her, especially as it is her first 4th of July awake lol. The last one she was sleeping and a bit ill. Oh yeah and a Happy Anniversary to my wonderful William, he is truly the one and only in my life. I am really a lucky girl to have met such an amazing, loving, goofy, silly, caring, giving, generous man, he isn't perfect, but he is perfect for me. The last 6 years have been amazing, I can't wait to see what the rest of my life with him will be like. Happy 4th everyone! Continue Reading

Let’s Play Catch Up!

February 10, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

I can't believe I posted last on Feb 4, wow how time flies so quickly. It's almost Valentine's Day!! So what is going on? Well The Biggest Loser winner was shocking, I talked about that in my other blog. So I won't really talk much about it here, except to say, I was shocked at how much weight Rachel lost. I am worried for her and her health. In my opinion, she lost too much weight that it looks unhealthy, or is it that I'm just not use to seeing her that skinny that she appears underweight? The is 5 feet 4, just a few inches shorter than me, and 105 pounds might be too thin. But who am I to say, I'm not a doctor, but there has been chatter about her since the show aired. I hope she's happy, and stays healthy, and that all she wants in life comes her way. So yesterday The Walking Dead returned!! Wow what a mess everything became, and Continue Reading

Remember Those That Served – Thank you!

Veteran's Day

Thank you so very much! To each and every person , man or woman, who has served, is serving and will serve to protect us. Thank you so much for putting your life before ours, for keeping us safe, keeping the children of the future safe. I don't think it is ever possible to tell you enough thank you's. So many people do not realise what you all have done to keep us safe. Many will learn and respect you in time. I'd like to thank my two brothers, Eric and Omar, who served in the Air Force and Navy, respectively, thank you for serving. I love and miss you guys. I think the younger generations are beginning to understand more and more what these men and women have done for us all. If you are out and about and see a veteran, thank them, don't wait for Veterans day to thank them. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be Continue Reading

We Are Engaged!!!

October 29, 2013 by Emily Leave a Comment

Can you believe it? I know a lot of people I know are thinking "Finally"! I don't blame them, it's me being picky, or just unlucky, I choose the first *wink*. Those who know me, read my blog posts, or know me IRL, know who my Hunny is, my wonderful absolutely amazing William!! On October 22, 2014, at about 6 pm EST, he came home, opened up a box, and asked me "Will you marry me in an outdoor wedding?" I of course said YES!!!! We had talked about it, and we had looked at wood rings, so it was a matter of time. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way, his way, his personality, nothing made up all original. He has always been a funny guy, and the only guy in the world that has made me laugh every day of my life that I have been with him, he's the only one that has ever really made me laugh to the point of tearing up.
