How About Them Celtics?

June 14, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

Big Sunday last night, True Blood premiere, and the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Laker played the 5th game of the Finals. The Celtics won last night, was a good game. I didn't watch it all but did watch some of the beginning of the game and the ending hehe. Next game I will be watching a bit more, as that may be the last game they play. You know I grew up with the Lakers being the favorite in the family, but you know as I grew older, I started to realise that I wanted to have my own team I liked. That I didn't have to like the Lakers because everyone in my family did, and not because they were my home team, same with the Dodgers. So that is why I am sure my siblings are surprised I am not really into the Lakers. Oh and did I ever mention, I hate Purple lol. How funny is that. Anyway since I had to miss either True Blood or the game, I Continue Reading

Weekend Here & No Sun :(

June 11, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

Ok so where is the sun hiding this week? I am so use to California weather, I really thought that even if I am in the east coast that the sun would be on time. Gosh its June already, hurry up and come out. I love winter don't get me wrong, but hey I like the summer too :sun: I hope it don't rain this weekend. We had some rain during the week, so I would really welcome the sun right about now. So we finally watched Wolfman, you know I was hyped up to see this film, but it was just the typical werewolf film in my eyes, although I have to say I really did like the transformation to wolf, especially in front of all the people in the asylum, haha that was wicked cool. It was my favorite parts. It did have a sad ending, but I still enjoyed it. Tonight for entertainment, hehe, I think we will see perhaps an episode or two of 24, we have been Continue Reading

Many Changes Going On

June 7, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

There really are changes going on all around us. This past weekend is a perfect example. It was hot and humid and just plain gross haha. I liked the heat, but despised the humidity, thank goodness for air conditioning hehe. I can't help but complain enough about the humidity. Anyway and look at today, a beautiful day, weather is perfect, i cannot complain, and i don't need the air conditioning on either. This weather would of been nice over the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, some years ago, I injured my knee, and on occasion I'll re-injure it. Well it happened again on Saturday evening, sitting on the couch, I must of moved my knee to quickly in an awkward position or something, and there it goes. The knee starts to hurt and swell up some. I thought oh my gravy just perfect! ...... NOT! So I was just careful where I walked, how much Continue Reading

Take Advantage of For Sale By Owner Homes

June 7, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

With the way the economy is these days, a lot of people are losing their homes, but on that same note, a lot of other people can benefit from it as well. I know it's probably a mean thing to say, but it's a reality as well. I've considered buying a house myself, sure it's a scary thing, where to look, omgoodness what is the economy going to be 5 years from now, yada yada yada, thousands of questions that can come into mind, a lot of 'what if's' as well. I've looked around some, came across Foreclosed Bank Homes, although it's a sad realisation to think of where these homes came from, there is also a lot of benefits. Mainly the price of the house. This is a very easy to navigate website, you have a better understanding of what a 'bank owned' house means, they share plenty of photos, enough that it's gives you the feel of being there, even Continue Reading

Finally Done!

June 3, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

Well after about 5 days worth of moving stuff and tossing what wasn't needed we are finally done and finished with that bit of it. Ok well not 100% but I would say 99.7% is that close enough? hehe. Yeah still have some stuff to clear out in the basement, and shed in the back yard. Gosh it's unbelievable how much a person can accumulate after a long period of time. Even 4 short years, you can find yourself in a mountain of things, and what's funnier is, you forget about some, and go out and buy more of it haha. That ever happen to you? The hardest part is over, so I'm glad about that, and I'm sure William is too! Oh I was talking to my friend Alice, and she is going to be visiting, so I'm really looking forward to that, I have missed her, and it would be nice to catch up, and get a hug! I don't know if we'll do any real sight seeing, as Continue Reading
