Sick People Out There

February 5, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

Today I was basically very lazy lol. Usually, I'm up and doing things, but today, I was up early but after William left for work, I didn't feel like getting on the laptop, so I surfed Netflix to watch something. I came across this film called Snuff: A Documentary about killing on camera. What is snuff, exactly what that title says, some sick people out there, that film real-life people being killed, and send out the films for profit? I don't know why I watched it, it wasn't a snuff film, but a documentary. I believe there are sick people out there that really do that kind of stuff. I really really hope I am wrong. I'm not giving you a trailer for that, if you are interested you can click the link. I am though going to put a video for the new A-Team film coming out soon, the trailer seems to be pretty good, I hope you enjoy it. So Continue Reading

Early Valentine

February 3, 2010 by Emily 2 Comments

Well, I thought it would be fun to have a Valentine's Day theme up, so I put one up at my personal domain check it out She-Says.com. Oh, this morning I woke up to a bit of snowfall which was really nice, it makes things a bit colder, but it's always so nice to see. Last night the first episode of the last season of LOST was on, I didn't watch it because I still have 1 episode left of season five, so today I'll watch that and the first new episode, I'm rather excited, I can't believe we caught up so quickly. I love the show, it's such a shame that it's in its last season :( *sigh* I think after I catch up, I would like to catch up with Heroes, suppose to be a really good show from what I have seen and read and it's only in its 4th season, so that's not too bad. Oh yeah, this weekend is Super Bowl, wow so quick, I am definitely going Continue Reading

Gone Too Quick

February 1, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

How does the weekend just fly by so quickly, gosh were we not only on Monday but in February as well? Wow, right? Ok so now all the Valentine stuff starts to happen, and a lot of people hate this time of the year, for many reasons. I think for some because it's overrated, others because they don't have anyone special, and are jealous. A few well probably more than a few have someone, but that someone doesn't really acknowledge what this day means for their loved ones. Well, I hope they open up their eyes, and try to see it from the other's person's point of view. I like to share my life to a certain extent on my blog, I think sure a blog you should talk about your life and whatever involves your life, but I feel that is really up to the author, that being me (Emily). And somethings I just like to keep to myself, as many others do. I Continue Reading

No Trailer Yet!?

The weekend has come again. It's going to be a chilly one too. We had light snow yesterday, or was that the day before? In any case, we did. So that has left the air chilly, a real reason to grab a sweater and drink some hot cocoa :) No big plans, I'm accompanying William to his sisters on Saturday, as he's going to do some babysitting, and I didn't feel like being home alone. Besides I wanted to go and see his niece and nephews again, they are just too adorable. Plus it gives me a chance to get out of the house. Hopefully, we don't get any more snow, as that would make the drive more difficult, I'm sure he can handle it though. Earlier in the week, we had some really strong winds, so strong that after the postman arrived and left a package between the door and screen door (it has glass also), I was sitting at the desk, working on Continue Reading

Mid Winter

January 27, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

We are halfway through winter, and we have had only one big snowfall. I loved it, I know that those that live here, are happy when there isn't much snowfall, but for me, it's so much fun to see and experience that it would be awesome if it would fall again. I'm not sure how many snowfalls I'm going to experience, but I try to enjoy it to the fullest. Coming from California, we didn't see much snow, unless you actually went up to Big Bear. Well now I am on the opposite side of the USA, and I am really enjoying the weather, sure it's cold but a sweater or a nice warm blanket can take care of that. The roughest time for me here is during summer, I came here in July of last year, and oh my goodness, the humidity was horrible, I could seriously live without that. I just absolutely hate how it feels. I remember one day I walked outside, Continue Reading
