What A Game!

October 19, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

On Sunday we went to Gillette Stadium to see the New England Patriots play. It was an incredible experience! William and myself knew that it would be cold weather and all so I tried to dress as warm as possible. I'm originally from California, so I wasn't exactly ready for Massachusetts weather. I also knew there would be some rain, we got there without a problem, we were there actually early, which was cool, so we just sat in the truck until about 30-45 mins before kick off, while sitting there it began to rain harder and harder. We finally made our way to the stadium and I was already getting wet, at that point I needed to get one of their stadium ponchos to try to stay dry. William kept saying I would need one, lol I finally broke down and got one. So we stood around and waited for awhile before finding our seats. I turn around and Continue Reading

Our Final Farwell

October 7, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

This post will be on the sadder side of things, last post was as well. As my last post stated, we found out that Bear 'our dog' had kidney failure. Because of that, it left us having to decide when we would have to take him to be put to sleep. It's not something you want to do, and you don't want to be selfish and keep him alive, but suffering. Although Pupa Bear didn't really show signs of being in pain, we knew he was sick. You could see it. I seen it, so did William. Bear was a good dog, he was a very well behaved dog which we kept happy with pet essentials and tips from https://dope.dog/. Gosh how many people get that? Well maybe a lot, but we were lucky. Although I wasn't around a very long time, in the short amount of time I was with Bear, we did get very attached to each other. He was silly, loving, affectionate, loyal, well Continue Reading

Losing A Loved One

September 29, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

Losing a loved one is a difficult time to go through. I lost my mother in 2001, I lost my cat Juliet in 2005, and now I am going to suffer another loss. Although I wasn't with him as long as his owner, I spent quite a bit of time with him, and we bonded. In one of my previous posts, I posted some photos of 'Pupa Bear' a beautiful Black Labrador. We just recently had a visit to the vet because he had not been himself, eating habit and all, everything started changing. Well we had the visit, and we got some really bad news, he was diagnosed with kidney failure, he is 13 years old though. He's had a lovely long life, William's father had him for 9 years, and William 4 years, I had him in my life for only a few months, but in those months gosh it feels like he's been a part of my life from the time he was a puppy. He was sooo cute when he was Continue Reading

Ahh It Burns

September 23, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

Gosh today I wake up to a feeling of heartburn, it sucks. It's uncomfortable and I want it to go away. Yes I need to complain. It's more than heartburn I feel it in my throat, geez it's a horrible feeling. It's kind of hard to blog while this feeling is occurring in my throat. Grrrr. I've got to the end of season 2 of True Blood, it's really good. I think it will be a regular for me. I am looking forward to June of 2010, when it is due to come out, well Season 3 anyway. Speaking of TV shows, I am going to try to catch up with Fringe now, because it's the type of show I like. So now I am on the hunt for that hehe. Gosh just realised I still haven't had lunch, even though I got this heartburn going on, I'm still hungry. Oh tonight the Wolves (British soccer team) play, and I know Steve is going to watch with this kids, so hope you enjoy Continue Reading

Here Comes The Weekend

September 17, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

The weekend is coming, but unfortunately we won't have much sun. Which is okay, because I am partial to the wintery weather. Think about it. Hot cocoa with mini marshmallows, grabbing a nice soft comfy blanket and covering yourself while watching TV, gosh even cuddling is nice, permitting you have someone to cuddle, hey the dog will do too :) *hugs Bear* lol. Bear is such an adorable and cuddly dog, always cuddling up with me on the couch. I've always been around cats, so having a dog do that is really cool. I had Chico back in California, but he was a tiny little chihuahua, so there is a considerable big difference. Bear is bigger, lots more hair, and really warm and cuddly. Ok well as promised I have the photos from King Richards Faire from 2 weeks ago, so sorry about posting them late. Anyway here they are enjoy them. I had loads of Continue Reading
