Oh Yes It’s Friday!

August 14, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

Wow here it is again. Friday! TGIF!! My sister texted me last night, said she arrived early to San Francisco, they are there for today's pre-season football game against Denver Broncos, Go 49ers!!! I hope she has a fantastic time, and that she returns home safely! I don't have much of a weekend planned, watch a good film perhaps, do some laundry, help clean out a closet. Sounds like fun don't it? I was just on Sodahead, and read this lovely poem that a mother dedicated to her Down Syndrome Daughter, I have to post it, it's just beautiful, it brought a tear to my eyes. I also posted the original post, in case someone was curious who wrote it. Down Syndrome Creed My face may be different but my feelings the same I laugh and I cry. I take pride in my gains. I was sent here among you to teach you to love, As God in the Heavens looks Continue Reading

Everything Changes

August 11, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

I've never been surprised at how things change so suddenly. Take the weather for instance. I was in bliss for a few days of the cool, fresh weather, then the muggyness comes back, lol. Although I'm not use to it, I will and am getting use to it. Oh hey did I say I changed the theme, yay. Finally got it as I wanted, although I really wanted 3 columns but hey it's a really cute one I feel. My friend asked me why don't I make my own, I said "Because I don't have the time" and that is 100 percent truth! I deal with it. I'm not really complaining, just something to talk about lol. Oh football season is going to start soon, I am excited about that, Go Steelers, Go 49ers, Go Patriots, I know I like 3 teams, nothing wrong with that :) Speaking of sports, the Boston Red Sox finally won last night, yay on that. I'm happy to see them win, Jonathan Continue Reading

Feeling 100%

August 8, 2009 by Emily 1 Comment

Gosh I am so glad, I am finally back at 100%, not sure what I had, but it pretty much lasted all week. Thank you everyone for putting up with it. Even the weather has been so lovely. Since first coming to Massachusetts, it's been really muggy, like nothing I've ever experienced before. From what I am told, I came during the time that it is the muggiest, some luck hey? hehe. Well now it's nice, not sure how long this gorgeous weather will be here, but I welcome it. Come September, it'll get cooler, I've never experienced a winter here, but I'm told it's "very" cold *shivers* lol. I've gotten into this great tv series by the name of Dexter, not the cartoon, I think one of my readers at one time thought I was talking about the cartoon, but it's a crime type of show. Where a forensics splatter expert is actually a serial killer, but he Continue Reading

So much, too little time

July 29, 2009 by Emily 3 Comments

I am still updating my directory, there is a lot of pending, but I am trying to get through them as quickly as possible. The good and bad thing about it is, some of the pendings were dead links, so I guess you can say that is good because they would of been removed anyway. So Yay! I am tryingto update this site more often, I do miss blogging, and as you all know I do keep most of my life private, I kind of like it that way. I do need to generate more traffic, so I am trying to do that as well. I just recently opened up two new namelistings, you see I'm trying to get everyones name in my family, silly I know. The two new additions are Karen and Eric my niece and brother. When I think of my sites, I think gosh I have so much to do, and just never enough time to do it. So in between updating List-Me.Com I blog lol. Last post I said I was Continue Reading

Muggy In July

July 17, 2009 by Emily 2 Comments

I have settled in Massachusetts, and am happy, the only thing i'm not thrilled about is the humidity, now while in California, we got humid weather there too. I'm not saying it don't. I just feel like complaining about it, and maybe it'll go away lol. Not happening hey? Lol, i didn't think so. It sucks actually. I don't think I can find one person that would be happy that it's humid. I remember when I arrived in London, back in 2005, it was muggy, and I thought, OMG I thought I got away from that lol. NO chance, everyone gets muggyness now and then lol. I learned my lesson lol. I cannot get away from it, perhaps Alaska? lol no I don't think I'll go there, there would be some people that wouldn't be too unhappy with that! I see I need to upgrade my WP, so I'll do that after I'm done with this post. I have loads of work to do, and I need Continue Reading
