I really don't know why I can't sleep. We went shopping yesterday, so I know I was tired from that. Can you be so tired that you can't sleep? Seems like that happened to me. I watched a few YouTube videos and then felt very sleepy, but then since I had been laying on my side, my shoulder was hurting, so I laid back on my back, and nothing, so I turned to one side .. nothing, then on my tummy .. and when I felt I was going to sleep, a part of my body jerked, and it wakes me, don't you just hate that? Seriously my brain must be on over drive or something, it's not letting me sleep, or is it? Because I don't feel myself really thinking? Hah, who does? Do you? April Showers In June? Come On, Really?
You know I love April, and May, and I can deal with the showers that come with those months, but June and it's raining? Why? The world is going to end soon I'm telling you!! Or this year the weather is just out of wack! Maybe both lol. I had plans to go out this weekend, but they have been cancelled with the way the weather is, so I put myself to use in the house and rearranged the room, moved this out and this in, that type of deal. I'm happy with it, I still have a few things that need to find a new home. And they shall! Last night I worked on practicing the 'nail' thing, and I'm getting there, it wasn't on my own finger. I figured out a way to make that silly tip stick to the artificial finger, it was being so stubborn. If At First You Don’t Succeed … Well You Know The Rest!?
I have mentioned in the past that I am teaching myself to do nails, and even though it looks easy on video, it really isn't. First is gluing the tip on to the nail, you can leave air pockets, and then that can cause some kind of infection, so you have to be careful with that, then getting down the amount of acrylic liquid and acrylic powder turned out to be difficult for me last night. I had initially wanted and still do, to practice on these plastic fingers that you can buy, it's much better than doing it on your self, and if something goes wrong, having to soak your fingers in pure acetone to remove the nail, just to turn around and try again. 30 Days of Truth: Day 21: (scenario) Your Best Friend Is In a Car Accident and You Two Got Into a Fight An Hour Before. What Do You Do?
It's been awhile since I have done a 30 Days of truth, so here we go. I think if I was notified that my best friend got into a car accident, I think my heart would jump out of my chest, and I would try to keep myself calm, but still feeling very scared. Recently I read that there were 225 fatal crashes in Fort Lauderdale, with an estimated 1800 injured. If my friend was among that number, I don't think I would be making rational decisions as I would be overwhelmed with emotions. Especially if it were something very serious, maybe requiring neurosurgery to fix. How would you handle it, specially if the injuries where that serious? Part of me doesn't even wand to think about it. Still, accidents are a given, and they happen no matter how cautious one may try to be. Yes you got it right, YouTubers do giveaways too, isn't that so cool. I entered a few blog giveaways, but I suddenly got into youtube, probably because I started to research things about nails there, and encountered quite a few awesome youtubers, so that is something I am thinking of doing myself, not really on a large scale, but mainly to share what I got, where I got it, and if I keep track how much things cost, also I would share things I do with nail designs, when I do them hehe, and things like that. I think it's a great way to meet new people, and you can actually see they exist, opposed to blogs where you just read or view photos, not saying that they don't exist because they do hehe.
