We are in June, and the weather is nice, at least it is today. Sometimes it rains, but that seems to be a normal thing for my area. Great weather is wonderful, but having a fridge break down isn't. We were able to save most of the food, but we did lose a few things. I would say we went for almost a week, maybe 5 days using an ice box. We borrowed my sister-in-law's, and the only thing they forgot to put in it, was the plug, so the water wouldn't leak out. We managed though, we had to regularly drain the water outside. If you are interested in what is going on in my life, see the previous post, or follow me on Plurk. I post there daily. Okay, let's see where I am in my progress. Weigh-in #29 (July 22, 2023) - This was much better, and what I like to see. I lost 2.6 lbs. Weighing in at 266.8, yay, let's keep going. Weigh-in #30 (July 29, 2023) - Another good Continue Reading

We are happy about that. I also talked about Pepper, the porch/deck kitty. Well, she is still here, hanging around as usual. I reached out to the same people that I contacted the first time, and they checked and will have an opening before winter. They asked me to take care of her until then. I recently gave her a dewormer, because I noticed tapeworms, and didn't want any around, because of the other ferals. Now sure it's possible they have it as well, especially if they hunt and eat animals they catch. But I try to make it Continue Reading
