I couldn't find a cute or cool theme for Halloween, this is the best I could do, I didn't have much time to really check. And I'm not feeling well so I thought I would just try to fix this up, as it will only be up for a few more day, then it comes down. But I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. Oh No Not Static!
Well I've been gone for a good while. I guess that means I either didn't have much to say, was way too busy, or just lazy about blogging. I'll leave that up to you :) Today I experienced a true cold Fall/Winter day. It was so cold the heater popped on, and I was glad because I was freezing. My hands get dry, the moisture is gone in them, so I need to keep a bottle of lotion near my desk, and remember to put lotion after I wash my hands each time. I don't know if that happens to others, because if I don't I will have no grip when it comes to holding on to the rail as I go down or up stairs. Plus I attract more static cling that I want. Oh NOO I hate static cling, I regularly get zapped when I touch a light switch or a lamp. I will not be liking that about winter. Happy Labor Day!
So the terrible hurricane has passed, and left it's destruction. I want to briefly talk about this, okay I think that's enough now lol, just kidding. No really we even lost our power for a few hours. I can't imagine what others are going through. We got ice, and prepared ourselves. IMHO, I think it's better to be prepared than to get caught without your pants down so to speak. Seriously I'm happy we were prepared, because you just never know. From what I heard, I can't remember how but at least 30 some people lost their lives, gosh that's horrible :(, my loving William still has no phone or internet at his work, sure they got electricity, but can you imagine how hard it is to run a business with those two missing services. I know Verizon and the power company are trying their hardest to get that turned on. I hope it's soon. I hate to see Continue Reading
East Coast Preparing!
This is rather a little scary on my part, because honestly I have never been in an area, direct area pretty much of a hurricane, and I'm hearing his one is going to be pretty bad, probably worse in some areas, but today we were out, and people are really buying stuff to be prepared. Survival type of stuff, I mean we picked up a few things as well like an ice chest, since we didn't have one, as the power may go out, and we don't want our freezer items to spoil, so it's one of those 'just in case' type of deals! So I've heard a lot about hurricane Irene, she is suppose to be really nasty in some parts, I really pray that no one is hurt, much less die, and I hope the places they may get hit the hardest are super prepared. Super Pooped
Omg we went on a shopping trip to Target, yes I love shopping there, always get great deals, saved like $40, which is fantastic, if you use a combination of coupons, Target and Manufacturer, no we are not extreme shoppers, but we will save where we can, and I try to almost always use coupons when I go shopping, for everything even clothing, heck I even got a coupon for $2 off a pair of jeans for Women or Men, that's pretty cool! And to top that off, find things on sale or clearance, woohoo go us!! We also popped into Walgreens and CVS for a few little items, but the biggest shop was Target, I am so pooped! Oh I am so happy, my collective has finally been moved yay.
