Sleepaway Camps Rock!

December 17, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Remember when you were a kid, and you went off to camp every summer? Remember how much fun you had? Sure you were a bit scared, and probably home sick too, but oh the fun you had!! Well don't you want your kids to have that much fun too? I know I would! Not only for my kids, but my niece and nephews and my friends kids, gosh just about every kid I can think of should experience such an awesome time. And you don't have to be a little kid, a young teen can have just as much fun! I tell you something, they will have those memories forever, and it's a great time for the kids to have fun during summer, and the parents get to relax and exhale, hahah! But how do you pick a good sleepaway camp? There are tons to look at on the internet, and you can always go by word of mouth as well. But let me recommend two websites, Tips On Trips and Camps, Continue Reading

Yup His Turn Now

December 16, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I'm really so happy I got all my Christmas shopping done for William, that is such a relief, he is going to be so surprised, I hope he likes what I got him. Speaking of shopping, he told me (since it's his day off), that he is going shopping for me. I asked him, 'You have no idea what you are getting me are you?', he says 'None what so ever', hahaha. Since there is only one care in this household and he uses it for work, I did all my shopping online, which was pretty good because I got loads of great deals. So I'm really happy about that, and I think he will be too :) Have you ever gone shopping for something, tried it at the store, thought it was awesome! Brought it home and then it just didn't work out as good as you thought. Well that's what happened to me. William got me this awesome new office chair, that I am using, but after a Continue Reading

Awesomely wrapped personalised M&M's, Yum!

Woohoo it's my birthday today, don't ask me how old I am or I'll shoot you hehe. After midnight last night, I got my first Happy Birthday wish, and kiss from my wonderful boyfriend. That was a really good way to start my birthday! This morning I slept in, so I skipped an early birthday breakfast, but I will be having brunch with William. He also showered me with a few more gifts. I don't know if you all recall, I got 2 early birthday gifts from him, a leather office chair, and some personalised M&M's it's so awesome!! He's so awesome. The chair is so comfortable and cushy too!    The M&M's were personalised with 'I Love You' and "William & Emily", how romantic is that, see the photos. Then today, when he went out to get the Sunday paper for me, he came back with more presents, woohoo, so exciting. Well he knows not to Continue Reading

My Holiday Wish

December 2, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

First and foremost, the most important thing on my holiday wish list is for all of my family and friends, near and far, to be safe, healthy, happy and loved. And yes, of course there will always be some type of material gift I'd want on my holiday wish list, so here we go! Step One Make a post to your blog, tumblr, facebook, myspace, what have you. The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really want and that people can see the post. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just an email address at which you can be contacted by potential wish-grantors. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your post, so that the holiday joy will spread. Step Two Surf around your friends list/blogroll/RSS feeds Continue Reading

Beautiful Day Out

November 12, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

We had a shopping trip today to Target, but we decided to check Walmart to see if the prices were less for what we were looking for and they were. I have to blame myself for breaking our portable heater, last year I got zapped (static electricity) and the off function wouldn't work anymore. So we resorted to unplugging and plugging in, I know that probably could of been dangerous but thank the Lord that it hadn't caused a fire or anything. Seems like I really attract static electricity. I have long hair down to my bum, the air is dry so my hair tends to grab on the the static for some reason, plus if I don't lotion myself up, my hands will get static, and well we know some clothing will grab on to static as well. Ugh what a pain, I love the Fall/Winter here, but I can do without the constant zapping due to static electricity, I'm not Continue Reading
