I would say warp speed. I felt as if it was just Christmas, and now it is almost the end of January, wow! Happy New Year! I hope your holiday was fun and memorable. I had a nice Christmas with my honey and his family, and then here at home with just us and the girls (our cats: Lily & Daisy). We had some snowfall last week, not a lot but it did make it very cold. My Mind Is In A Fog
I woke up at around 5 am to feed my girls, (Daisy and Lily) my cats, yes I am a fur mommy. They won't let you sleep if you don't tend to them. I love my girls though, so I am happy to get up and feed them. You rarely find one without the other, 2 peas in a pod :) I decide to stay up, as I had a couple of packages to get out to the post today, and since my fiance was going to the post office anyway I asked him to take it for me. Normally it would be an Ebay sale but this time it wasn't, it was a couple of prizes I needed to send out for winners in my YouTube channel giveaways. Hello September! Fall is Almost Here!
Nineteen days until the official first day of Fall! Wow, already so hard to believe. Just today I was looking out the kitchen window into the backyard and I saw a few leaves fall. I turned to William and told him, "I just saw a few leaves fall". He says "bite your tongue". Yeah, I don't think he is ready for Fall and to be quite honest, I'm not either. We are really enjoying our summer. During our Labor Day weekend, my honey as I like to refer to William spent some time doing some repairs to the house, not urgent repairs but things we wanted to fix, like our faucet in the bathroom needed replacing. We had recently had the bathroom redone, and by the way, it looks gorgeous. Back to the sink, yeah we used our old faucet and thought it was time for a new one, so a new went up. We had a White Christmas, sorta!
I have always wanted to have a White Christmas, the fact we got some early snow this year I had high hopes. Christmas Eve comes along, no snow! I was bummed but thought okay next year. So when I wake up Christmas morning. My honey tells me, you might want to look outside!! I was, huh? What are you talking about? All confused right? I look through the curtain and right away I see it is SNOWING!! I thought OMG OMG we are having a White Christmas after all. It’s My Birthday Week – Weee Yay!
It came so quick, I wasn't even thinking. My birthday week really should have started Monday, but since Monday was still November, it didn't feel like it much. Now that it is December 1st, it does lol, even though it is only 3 days away, wow right? So much for a weeks worth of birthday stuff haha. I know a few people that have a birthday this week, well this month actually. I told a Facebook friend, I should change it to birthday month but that is getting to be too much.
