B is for Bad Teacher #AtoZChallenge

April 2, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

Here we go with the A to Z Challenge, what am I picking for today? B is for Bad Teacher, we all need a little comedy in our life, well I found a great film, which is super funny because I just love Cameron Diaz!! Right?? She is not only adorable but funny! She plays it well in this film. So what is this film about? Gold digger Elizabeth Halsey (played by Cameron Diaz) returns to middle school, after her wealthy fiancé breaks it off. She's an awful teacher but wants to save for breast-implant surgery. A new teacher, Scott (played by Justin Timberlake), who turns out to be rich, joins the staff at the school, she perks up right away. She stops showing films and sleeping in class when she is told there's a bonus for the teacher whose class scores highest on the state exam. Her competition for Scott and the bonus is cheery and tightly Continue Reading

A is for All the Boys Love Mandy Lane #AtoZchallenge

April 1, 2012 by Emily 6 Comments

Okay so this is the beginning of the A to Z Challenge I spoke about yesterday. I had been debating about what I wanted to do as a theme, as I read around, and see what others were doing, I came back to the same idea, and that was to go with the theme idea, instead of going random. Which is how I was going to start, but then I thought I love films, and would love to share some I have watched, and look forward to watching. I did state, that I would share only the ones that I have seen, but seriously if I have not see a film with the letter U or W or whatever, I will pick one that I want to see, gives us something in the future to want to see, yay! I went with the film called 'All The Boys Love Mandy', sounds like a really sweet film just by the name hey? That's what I thought too, I thought it would turn out to be a chick flick. Well Continue Reading

They Are Scarce

October 29, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I couldn't find a cute or cool theme for Halloween, this is the best I could do, I didn't have much time to really check. And I'm not feeling well so I thought I would just try to fix this up, as it will only be up for a few more day, then it comes down. But I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. Be safe out there. We did some shopping today, yeah ran to a few stores an what not. Really upset with Walmart as they didn't have the pull type of laundry hampers, the one I have I bought there when I moved to MA, and now they don't have any *shocked* seriously I was WTF!!! So we were passing Kmart, and I asked William would you mind? He said sure, and again NOTHING how much does that piss me off GRRR!!! If it was going to be like this, I would of done all my shopping at Target, we had passed like 2 of them too, AHH I'm so mad Continue Reading

Lose Track Of Time

February 26, 2011 by Emily 1 Comment

I think this happens to us all. We want to accomplish so much in a day, maybe even make a list of what you want to do, but for some reason, you get sidetracked and there goes your goals for the day. This has happened to me over and over, time and time again. I can't get my head around it, makes me kind of mad. Especially when there are things I really want to get done. If it isn't a phone call it's a text, if it isn't that, it's a message online, if not that, then some other type of distraction. I mean honestly it seems like time gets shorter as we get older, because at the end of the day, nothing seems to get done, it's aggravating! So I'm very happy, we finally decided to break down and get cable, we were holding out for FIOS TV but it didn't ever seem to get here, so no going back now. Next weekend they will be here to install the Continue Reading

Happy Birthday William!

October 21, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

Here it comes again, another birthday for such a lovely, loving, caring, friendly, helpful, tender, realistic, thoughtful, guy I have ever had the pleasure to know. Thank you for coming into my life, you are the best ever!!! Well yes this is a special post for a really special guy, William! His birthday, which coincidentally falls on the same day my nephew Mike, so Happy Birthday to Mike as well. I love you sweety, and miss you like crazy. Come home soon (home being CA, not MA) lol. It's been raining today, so it's a lot colder *brrr* earlier there was really loud thunder and lightening, I mean seriously loud, I was a bit concerned hehe. Maybe it seemed louder because I was upstairs? It has stopped now, thank goodness! Oh my the sun came out how nice, and weird at the same time, thunder and lighetening, then the nice sun comes out, Continue Reading
