Weigh-in #01 – Here We Go Again!

January 10, 2023 by Emily 2 Comments

Yeah, that is correct. Here I go again, trying to lose weight. I did it before, and things just went wrong. I am not going to go in-depth about that, as I have already posted a blog about it when it happened. If I can dig up the blog post, I will add a link in this post leading you to that post. I finally got tired of being overweight, it happens to us all, but for me, I just had enough of it. I am tired of it. I don't feel well, well I do feel well, but my knees are bothering me. I am 5'1 small framed but I am way overweight, into the obese category sad to say I am 58 and I don't want to die because I am overweight. I am being brutally honest with you all here. However, I hope all that changes. I started my diet officially on Jan 2, 2023, and on that day I weighed in, to see where I would be starting. My weight at the time was Continue Reading

Happy Spring? Maybe? Yes?

March 21, 2013 by Emily 1 Comment

Hello Spring? Please?!

Happy spring everyone! At least it's supposed to be spring, it's still a bit winter here. Yesterday was the first day of spring, and as I look out my window I see some snow on the ground still, and yet earlier today I was looking online and I seen that were supposed to be getting another storm coming through, so I might be getting more snow, if not snow, then rain. So when does my spring actually begin? I really don't know. I think our spring over here in the East Coast is probably going to be very short, I'd rather have a longer Spring and a short Summer. If you read my blog posts at all you know I really don't like the humidity here, sometimes you can literally cut it with a nice it's not that sick. Now William, he just loves it he can't wait until the summer comes. I love the summers to, but I love the California summers, sure we Continue Reading

Persistence Pays Off, Believe It!

Yes!! Finally it's here. SUMMER! I'm super happy, that means no more rain? I hope. The weather has been wacky for ages, even when I lived in California, it was wacky, so I really don't know what to expect. It's 3:45pm EST and the temperature at the moment is 94 degrees, and yes I can feel the humidity. I've been indoors, so I don't feel it as much as others. I really hope William is keeping cool. I wish there was a way to guarantee that but alas there isn't. I know they have A/C at his job, so hopefully it's on and keeping him cool. So what's been going on with me. Well I have been watching a heck of a lot of YouTube videos, in hopes of learning more tricks of the trade. I recently bought some Primer from and Ebay seller, and unfortunately I wasn't at all happy with the product, it was way too thick, appeared to be more of a top coat, Continue Reading

Don’t Be Such A Big Tease!

March 24, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

Did Mother Nature fool us again? Just when you thought, 'Wow Spring is here', we get hit with cloudy days, cold nights and possibly some rain! Come on my dearest Mother Nature, give us a some warm sunny days. I'm sure they will come eventually, but how about now? Don't be a big tease! Seriously, just when I'm telling William, "Heck yeah I'm ready for some BBQing", then suddenly the weather changes. I put on a sweater, close the windows and I'll probably pop on the heater so I stay warm! What a disappointment. I know what you are thinking? Why can't she just be patient? I don't have an answer!! Okay yes I do, and I already gave it in this post lol, but I will try to be a bit more patient *puts on sweater* I know the weather out here in Massachusetts, is going to be chilly, because the air is dry, and I get zapped every time I touch a Continue Reading

Where Is Summer?

August 7, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

This year, summer has been really goofy, the weather constantly changing. We seem to be getting a lot of tropical storms here, one day its gorgeously beautiful, the next its humid and icky, and then its raining, and cool. What a combination. I'm okay but gosh I would really love to see some normal summer weather (minus the humidity) lol. So we had this great weekend planned, but there was somethings that came up that were well priority really, so that had to be cancelled, funny enough it rains today. But it was going to be a Friday - Saturday thing, I'm not going to say what, but I know it was going to be so much fun. But you know I love my William so much, and am 100% supportive of his work, that I know these things will come up. He spent most of Saturday gone taking care of some business, I stayed home and did my thing. He was so Continue Reading
