We have been in our new house for 2 months now, and I still don't have my room set up. This is because now I realize lol, that I have too many things, and I tend to hold on to things I no longer need, and are not functional, apart from looking pretty lol. I am a girly girl, and well I cannot help that. I am sure many ladies can relate, right??? Lol Besides going through things, I would like to give away to friends, but I don't because I am on a budget and cannot ship things to everyone for free, I decided the majority will be donated to Salvation Army, it feels good to be able to donate, rather than throw in the garbage. I would encourage everyone to do the same, we can all make a difference and give a little here and there. Still Sorting The Hobby Room
First and foremost, Happy Star Wars Day, May the Fourth be with you!!! Let's chat about what I am up to recently. The 'Hobby Room'! I don't call it the craft room, I don't call it the nail room because this room will cover all those things. I am all about a little of this, and a little of that. I also do my recording in this room. Once I figure out how everything will go. I stopped and decided to start a blog post. I bought this extension for my tripod, but I am now seeing I am going to either have to get the weight necessary to balance out the camera, even though the Sony is very light weight. This is the extension my honey bought me. It is a Photek The eXtender, 38" Telescopic Horizontal Tripod Arm with Ball Head. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I thought I would quickly post a Happy St. Patricks Day! I am not Irish, but my honey is part Irish, his grandmother is full blooded Irish though. I hope you all enjoy the day, please don't drink and drive. I know those green beers are so very tempting but we must exercise control :) and also, don't text and drive, not a good mix. I wanted to leave you with a quick Demo of the Sally Hansen Salon Effects video I did. Since I had not been doing anything to my nails, as they get thrashed when packing lol. Packing Is Tiring! Got To Get It Done!
Packing is tiring! That is an understatement. I am pooped every day by the time my honey gets home. Packing up this room is so much work, I have so much CRAP. Lol okay, it isn't crap, but some stuff I can and will give to Goodwill or Salvation Army. I am almost done, though, so happy :) It is the next day, March 14, 2017, and we did go to Salvation Army and donate some items, but we left a box and a wall mirror we wanted to donate, so that will go next week. I finally got a chance to visit a few Dollar Tree stores, as my honey does do some shopping there too, and I buy stuff I am in search of and picked up a few things for others as well. The Dollar Tree that is going to be closest to our new home, seems to get the new things in so that is really exciting. We Are Moving!! Yes We Are!
How exciting is that? We are finally moving. I think I have talked about it many times, then it didn't happen, but this time it is going to happen. We are locked into a house, and we are so so very excited. After looking at so many options, and getting a lot of help. Finally we settled on one of the Essex homes, which funnily enough was one of the first options we took a look at. Not saying much more, apart from that I will be very busy packing, and the first room I am currently working on is the hobby/storage/nail/crafting room lol. Just about everything is in here, so I have a big job ahead of me. I am going to try to keep up with my YouTube videos, and blogging while I do this, but as you can see it has been awhile since I posted on my blog.
