Wow, I am shocked that I did not notice that my website was down since Nov 2, 2022, due to Jetpack, well I updated Jetpack and it is working again. I am so glad WordPress has a Recovery Mode, which they send a link to when something goes wrong with WordPress, and this helped me out, I am so glad for that. As usual, I have no excuse not to come and update. I update my planner every day, so I should do similar to my blog. This is the only reason I discovered my website was down. The hosting is fine, the domain name is fine, and it was the Jetpack plugin. Apart from that almost terrible incident, things have been going along fine. Can’t Help Being Busy
As I write this, I was doing some changes to my blog theme because it wasn't supported by PHP 7, so I needed to change the theme, even though I absolutely loved the previous theme, I am sad it is gone :(. I still have the posts to deal with. I am doing it on my own, so it is trial by error. I know today is September 23, 2019, and I haven't posted since the 1st. I had 2 other websites today to work on, plus I am dealing with so much that I just don't have time for it all. I need to really consider reducing what I have that keeps me so busy. I am trying to make my reseller business a priority. I not only sell on Ebay, but Poshmark and Mercari as well to help sell my things faster. Here I am again! The first time I had a blog going on here, and then what happened? I got hacked, and everything was wiped out, my host didn’t even have a backup. I was so so heartbroken. I just let this sit here. Until now. I am ready to start blogging again here. Service Interruption Due To Server Move
After about 7 years with Steadfast, they sold the shared hosting accounts over to Fluid Hosting, we weren't really aware of it, until they had already decided to sell, the accounts we're moved with no disruption, which was great, but it was time to move hosts. They are top notch!! So why am I moving? Well they are so expensive lol. Sorry but it's a fact, we are all in a financial crisis which is why I find that at this stage opting for Pay monthly websites will be much better for the company as it is cost-effective and let's change anything as per my wish. Ok I won't exaggerate about the crisis, but inflation and all, I just can't afford those prices. So instead I am moving to Web Hosting Buzz, I know it's a silly name hey? Money Is Good, Yes?!
Bring me the money, gosh that probably has been used so much lol. I like it though, I am getting offers to write, so that is bringing me money in, yay for me. We can definitely use the money, and it's really great to see offers come in, it brightens my day. Besides it helps to pay for my ebay fees hehe. I have two more that I need to do, but since I did one yesterday and then again today, I thought writing my own blog would be a good idea. Hehe. So I'm a bit tired today, so I am going to leave this as a draft and finish it off tomorrow morning, as I don't think I have the energy to really talk about stuff, I have all kinds of stuff running around in my head lol.
