Freebies & More Freebies, Gotta Love Free Samples by Mail & Online Freebies *wink*

May 18, 2012 by Emily 5 Comments

Heck yes I will be the first to say I love love love freebies, giveaways, free samples, I love it all. With the way the economy is these days how is it wrong to want to try new things, in the form of samples by mail, or online freebies, seriously? You are lying if you say no!! Now I know some of us out there are so well off they don't have to want freebies or free samples by mail, but we are not all privileged like that. So whatever on that, but for those of you that love love freebies, giveaways, free samples by mail, online freebies, please raise your hand, you don't even have to comment, just knowing that people love them as much as I do, says a lot. And trust me I know a whole online community of people that do :) Summer is a time to get fit, actually summer shouldn't be the only time one tries to get fit, it's an every day way of Continue Reading

The Weather, It’s A Love Hate Thing

May 15, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I was loving the weather over the weekend. I'm glad it was gorgeous for Mother's day, but now how I am hating it, it's cold, and over cast, no sun in sight. I'll have to wait for the weekend, as the weather is suppose to soar high like in the 80's on Friday or Saturday, so get your picnic, bathing suits and all that summer gear ready, and take advantage of it, just in case the clouds decide to come in and ruin the week hehe. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Drive-in with my sweetheart this weekend, since the weather reports seem to be good, hopefully it is going to be nice. I love drive-in's they are so much fun. Don't have to worry too much about people yapping behind you or in front of you :) Speaking of hating things, William emailed me a list of TV shows that have been cancelled, and I am truly disappointed in some of the shows Continue Reading

Y is for Young Adult #AtoZChallenge

April 28, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

Woo getting closer to the end, I keep saying that don't I? Well it's just to remind you I won't be doing any films unless it's something I really really want to share, then I will. Anyway, yesterday I had said that I wouldn't post about a film I didn't like, so I decided I would, especially because it was hard for me to find a film starting with a Y and I had put this film on my list in case I couldn't come up with anything else. I am a long time fan of Charlize Theron, I love that woman to bits, I tell you. And I always, always watch her films. Well I watched Young Adult a few months ago, and I wasn't happy with what I seen. I was so very very disappointed in the film. I actually thought it would be on the comedy side, but instead it was on the depressing side. I was fooled lol. But as I said, I watch anything she is in, because I am Continue Reading

V for Vendetta, My #AtoZChallenge for Today!

April 25, 2012 by Emily 3 Comments

I remember when I first heard about this film from a friend, and I wasn't too excited about it, so I put it off to watch, as I have a list of must watch films, and a list of films I'll watch if nothing else is interesting to watch, or I'm just plain bored hehe. When I finally got around to watching this film, I was surprised to really have enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I even told myself, why did I put this off, why didn't I give this a chance, well I never was able to answer myself, but at least I got to watch a really good film. If you havne't seen it, then read up, on what this is about, it's a really interesting story, and I know you will be wondering how it ended. I know the synopsis is rather long, but for those that haven't really seen this film, it's really interesting to know why V does what he does :) Be sure to Continue Reading

N is for No Country for Old Men #AtoZChallenge

April 16, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

I'm posting a little later than usual, but it's because I am still getting over this cold borderline flu, so my letter for today's AtoZ Challenge is N, I choose the film No Country for Old Men. I remember seeing the previews about it, and well being that I am into action films, this was really something I knew I wanted to see. I was not disappointed with this film. Javier Bardem played this role so well, he was so ruthless and cold, when he killed, ok so what's this film about you ask? In rural Texas, welder and hunter Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) discovers the remains of several drug runners who have all killed each other in an exchange gone violently wrong. Rather than report the discovery to the police, Moss decides to simply take the two million dollars present for himself. This puts the psychopathic killer, Anton Chigurh (Javier Continue Reading
