This morning as we sipped some coffee, we were watching the morning news, and they were talking about texting while driving and how dangerous it can be, I completely agree with that. They provided a commercial that is being shown on youtube at this time, about 4 girls driving down a road, the driver texting, well you can imagine the rest, but watch the video below so you can see what happens. It's so very sad. Keep in mind girls are not the only ones texting and doing other things such as driving and walking down the street. Warning: It is a graphic video. Oh Yes It’s Friday!
Wow here it is again. Friday! TGIF!! My sister texted me last night, said she arrived early to San Francisco, they are there for today's pre-season football game against Denver Broncos, Go 49ers!!! I hope she has a fantastic time, and that she returns home safely! I don't have much of a weekend planned, watch a good film perhaps, do some laundry, help clean out a closet. Sounds like fun don't it? Feeling 100%
Gosh I am so glad, I am finally back at 100%, not sure what I had, but it pretty much lasted all week. Thank you everyone for putting up with it. Even the weather has been so lovely. Since first coming to Massachusetts, it's been really muggy, like nothing I've ever experienced before. From what I am told, I came during the time that it is the muggiest, some luck hey? hehe. Well now it's nice, not sure how long this gorgeous weather will be here, but I welcome it. Come September, it'll get cooler, I've never experienced a winter here, but I'm told it's "very" cold *shivers* lol. So much, too little time
I am still updating my directory, there is a lot of pending, but I am trying to get through them as quickly as possible. The good and bad thing about it is, some of the pendings were dead links, so I guess you can say that is good because they would of been removed anyway. So Yay! I am tryingto update this site more often, I do miss blogging, and as you all know I do keep most of my life private, I kind of like it that way. I do need to generate more traffic, so I am trying to do that as well. I just recently opened up two new namelistings, you see I'm trying to get everyones name in my family, silly I know. Another upgrade?
Ok I guess I should stop complaining because that is just going to be an on going thing now, and we should all be use to the constant upgrades. So I've been comparing Chrome and Firefox, and well I watched a video on youtube about how fast Chrome is and it really is fast in loading pages, ultimately for me is the loading speed and how much of a hog a browser can be on the computer, I've seen FF eat up so much ram it's not even funny. Chrome seems to be really light weight. I am still a big fan of Firefox and always will be, but I can't say I won't use Chrome because I will. What do you all think of it, have you given it a chance to see how it works.
