Happy Thanksgiving

November 23, 2006 by Emily Leave a Comment

I do have a lot to be thankful for despite my last post. Alice is in London, working 12 hour shifts, so we couldn't share this day, even though here in England they don't celebrate it. I miss it, I do, I have celebrated that all my life. It's like taking Guy Fawkes day away from the English, hehe imagine that. Well anyway the Brits are not the only ones that don't celebrate Thanksgiving. Even though I am here I still am in spirit of it. Had a nice conversation with Alice, actually heard her laugh, was really happy about that. I'll be making a run to London at the end of the month, then driving back with Alice, need to help her pack some stuff from where she is at, at the moment. She is moving out of there finally and going to be here with me. I do worry about her commute though, we are about an hour and a half by train to the London, and Continue Reading

Spoke Up

November 23, 2006 by Emily Leave a Comment

I guess it had been building up for some time now, ever since she told me what she did on that phone earlier in the week, it really got me so depressed. It's been building up to the point that I finally just blurted it out! We were on the phone off and on today, and she had been so pissy with me and I didn't know why, where was it coming from? I tried to be patient and understanding. I realize she has many things on her mind, I don't kid when I say many. In about 6 days she will be off work for 3 months, special leave, which makes me happy because she will be able to be here, at her real home, where she belongs. Back to the phone call, I had formatted her computer or that is restored it when she was here last week. I connected the broadband we have here, but completely forgot to check to see if the drivers for her wireless were installed, Continue Reading

Fanlistings

November 21, 2006 by Emily Leave a Comment

Hey I know it's late but wanted to post something real quick before cobwebs start to grow on this blog. I got approved for 2 new fanlistings which I thought they had already decided on them but am happy to have them. I finished 2 of them, so if you are a fan of the old TV sitcom Happy Days, I totally love that show, same with Laverne & Shirley but I don't own that one hahah. I also finished up the Laurel & Hardy fanlisting although that is way before my time, I can't help but love those two characters, they are still funny to me. I'm also adopting the Billiards/Pool fanlisting, I love playing pool, I actually played in tournaments for a while, but that fizzed out, but still I love the game and wish I had a pool table at home, I also go approved for the Movie Character Murphy, Dade/'Crash Override'/'Zero Cool', I had adopted the fanlisting Continue Reading

Back To London

November 17, 2006 by Emily Leave a Comment

Aww she just left back to London, I can't believe how quickly time passes by. Although she left in a very good mood, and I am in a very good mood, we got excellent news, that will give us the opportunity to visit California, not for long but long enough, I've wanted her to meet my family, especially my sister and her partner, so that's really great, won't say much more than that for now as it's all new still, and want to be doubly sure about it, even though we are already positive. I'm excited, so very excited it's going to give us an opportunity for a lot when we get back, more about that another time too. So beside that, I am sitting in our flat, just being lonely cause she's gone. She just called, and told me the winds are so high and strong, she can feel the car move as she drives, so she said she wouldn't take the motorway and Continue Reading

My Home

November 14, 2006 by Emily Leave a Comment

I have a lot to say but not going to say it. I do have to say that having Als friend over was not as good as she had wanted, but more because Al had to blow up over some small detail. I know that Americans and Europeans are different in many ways, and everyone has to adjust to everyone. Now this place is our home, mine and Alice's. Where I come from, when you want to change clothing you don't do it in the living room where people are at, people meaning me and Alice, she (Adriana) could of excused her self to the bathroom and changed her self into her pants easily there. I can't help but feel offended, as I said, everyone is different and everyone is comfortable doing certain things, but no one that I know, where I come from has done things like that. So naturally I was not use to it. It bothered me a lot. More so because Alice and Adriana Continue Reading
