Lovely Sunny Days

April 7, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

That is what I am hoping for plenty of lovely sunny days, with that a change of theme. Now once summer comes it’ll be brutal, well for me anyway. I love the summer, but I don’t like the humidity it brings with it, especially out here. Now that may only last for a month, but it’s horrible, I am so irritated, and annoyed on those days, I feel so sorry for William, “Hey William I promised to handle it better than I did last year” holy moly, this one day last year. We were going somewhere I don’t recall where, but I walked outside, and OMGOSH!!! The humidity hit me and it felt so thick outside, I was going to panic that I couldn’t breath, oh gosh it was the worse thing I ever experienced. I guess those who live here are use to it, at least that is what William told me.

Speaking of summer, I think we may consider changing the kitchen sink, and summer is the best time to do it too. We have been watching this TV show Holmes on Homes and it’s an amazing show, we have learned a lot about fixing up the house. So one of the projects (a small one) we are considering is to put in a new sink, it really doesn’t look as hard as some may think, a drop in sink is probably the easiest to install, unlike completely re-doing a kitchen (that’s a whole other story). This website I visited, has a variety of drop in sinks available, you can probably find something just right for you. I think we will be using them to find just the right sink for the kitchen. They have beautiful stainless steel sinks, I personally prefer stainless steel They have single bowl, and double bowl, we will be getting the double bowl. It’s kind of exciting, as we are going to do it ourselves. The prices are very reasonable, the sinks look beautiful, and with the economy the way it is these days, this is perfect way to go!

We watched LOST last night, and then watched the Red Sox, unfortunately they didn’t win, although it was such a close game. I really enjoyed it, especially the part where I can fast forward through the commercials hehe. They play again tonight against the Yankees, I believe tonight Fringe will also be on, or was it Flash Forward? Gosh I could be wrong about both lol. We didn’t get a chance to watch V last night, so we’ll play catch up with that later today. William told me there will be another James Bond film coming out next year wow, I think a lot of people expected that. I am not a big big fan of James Bond films, but I have enjoyed the last few that have come out. I do expect to see the new one when it comes out. According to IMDB this is all they have Bond 23, although there are still a lot of names being thrown around such as “The Property of a Lady”, “Risico” and even “Bond in New York”, but it’ll star Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz (an article on her and her possible involvement in the film), and of course Judi Dench (that is rumour) but we will see. Anyway I have a lot to do, have a lovely day and see you tomorrow

Summer time is always the best time for DIY. My parents love to do the house & garden up during the summer.

Those sink do look pretty easy to install. Good luck with fixing up a new sink for your kitchen.
