Look around, it sure does seem like it, or at least we are getting there. I am so tired of it, and I see no end to it, to be quite honest if we continue to go the route we are going, and I mean every single one of us. No exceptions.
Sometimes I feel I am fortunate to not have had any kids, not the way the world is now. I feel blessed at times and often wonder why. Then I look around and my question is answered. Why must the world be full of so much hate? I may ever know.
I’ll be honest I have hesitated to write a post but I need to keep my blog active. Because I just am lost for words sometimes. I pick myself up and move ahead and write. Moving on, I think this is the longest I have gone without posting. Unless you go back to the beginning, I slacked big time then.
Now you can’t seem to get me to stop yapping. I digress. I am sad to see how the world is now, how humans are to each other, to animals, it just sickens me. All I can do is pray that people change. Does something really big have to happen to bring everyone together? I mean real big?? Perhaps, and God forbid it happens, but maybe that is just what we need. A huge cleansing. I am not going to go on about that. Just know, everyone is in my prayers.
Instead of being negative, let’s go positive with a review, I want to share a review of something I recently purchased that I just love. I think I have gone through maybe mirrors, one battery-operated from Ikea (it sucks), and one that has no lighting but I still kept. The current one is a lovely 3 panel lighted mirror, USB charged no more batteries. Check it out and my thoughts on it.
I also did a quick video to show how it turns on. I really do love it, so worth the money! I just hope it lasts lol.
It was packed nicely to ensure the item would not be damaged during shipment. However, after close inspection there was a crack on the lower left mirror in the top corner (see photos). I worry now that that mirror may fall out. The one above that also has a slight crack on the edge (see photos), I tried to photograph as best I could. The mirror is aesthetically pleasing as it matches my room, which is nice! The cord is a little over 3 feet, enough to reach my tower that sits under my table so I am happy with that.
After plugging it in, it came on without any issues, very bright, I do like that. One-touch on-off. Once you touch the button, it comes on and gradually gets to it’s brightest setting, which helps your eyes adjust, another nice feature, I don’t know if that was intentional or not. The additional small mirror with suction cup is great if you want to move it on either side of the mirror, it has fallen off a few times, I just add a tiny droplet of water and it suctions better. After use, I remove the small mirror with the suction cup and clicked closed it, I like that, so it doesn’t randomly open on its own.
However, I have long nails, and I found it hard to open, as I don’t like using my nails to open things, so I just swing it around and open it from behind, not a huge issue. After reading the little note on the mirror, I realized that if you touch and hold it for a second, it gets brighter. I am very happy to see how bright this truly is. Very much worth the price, as long as it doesn’t arrive cracked. In the future, I would like to see a model that has lights on all the panels for extra lighting, and more foam to secure that the mirror doesn’t break in the corners, as there was no foam in between the mirrors which it should have had (see photos). This is perfect for my needs, I was getting tired of battery-operated mirrors, and continuously buying batteries, so this is ideal. I highly recommend it.
Again, I love it. I really should post more reviews of things I buy. I recently purchased a thermal printer, and I am happy with it, no more ink, no more cutting out paper, and messing with tape to tape it down. Oh my goodness how that annoyed me. Now I peel the back and stick it to the package, so super easy. I love it. I’ll be posting a review on a hairbrush straightener. I have always wanted one and finally got one. So once I write the review I will post it here with photos.
