Happy Fall, everyone! I can’t believe it has been 6 months since I last posted. At least I am posting in 2025 still lol. I have been busy. Lately, it feels as if my cats keep me very busy. I am talking about my inside cats, Daisy and Lily. That is not including my outside furbabies. I had about 8 feral cats I was feeding, and loving it. But one by one, they seemed to disappear. I miss them all so much. I may have mentioned this before, as a matter of fact, I did in the last post. I went to look LOL.
Lilo, my tortie girl, is still here. I think she adopted us because she has a permanent bed on the deck. In the summer, she would sleep on the deck furniture, and in the winter, she sleeps in a heated house. I am hoping that over time, she will become an inside cat and be added to the family here. The other feral is Mittens, a tuxedo boy. He has a little limp. It appears that his leg was broken at one time and healed in an awkward position; however, he walks fine, but does limp. I have seen him run away a few times, so I don’t think he is in pain. There was another tuxedo that came around, and has since stopped coming around. That tuxedo furbaby I named Boots. After a while, I realized Mittens didn’t have the extra toes, and in fact, it was Boots LOL. The names stuck, so I didn’t change them. However, since Mittens continued coming around, I would try to get his attention by saying “kitty kitty” so I could feed him. So I use that name to feed him, but his name is Mittens. Those are the only two outside cats I have been feeding the last few months. It is so weird going from 8-10 ferals to 2. I miss those who have moved on. I just hope they are happy, healthy, safe, and loved.
What else has been going on? Just the same stuff, really. Busy with the cats, with life in general. My stomach issues have seemed to resolve themselves, although I do avoid certain things; I think that has helped. Currently, though, I am having a foot issue. Sometimes I get a little callus on the side of my right foot, but I have been taking care of that. I still feel some, but I think the pain I am currently feeling seems to be an issue in my foot. It hurts after I walk on it for a while, so I have to take weight off of it.
I saw a video, not sure if it was on YouTube or a TV show, but I was never able to find it. A woman had a similar issue, but more on the bottom of her foot, where she had pain, almost like walking on a rock all the time. They did surgery and opened up her foot, and took out whatever callus she had accumulated in her foot. I was hoping to find that episode, to show my husband, but no luck But I think I will need to see a podiatrist for my issue. I don’t see this going away on its own. I guess we’ll see how that goes. I hope I don’t wait another 6 months before I post again. Lol.
I had to stop writing because I remembered I needed to go get the food bowls in the yard, or the raccoons would eat all the food. Then I got Lilo on the deck, she was under the car, and I wanted her to go on her bed, so I got her up on the deck and on her bed. I had to switch out heating pads as the one out there didn’t seem to be heating up enough, so I swapped it with one I have inside for Daisy, and I was right, it isn’t heating up enough. Time to buy another one. I need the heating pad to work, or in the winter, it will not keep her warm. I wish she would give in and just let me bring her in, but she is stubborn. I have to work with what I have, and if it means her staying in a heated house in the winter, so be it. I love her and I want her to be warm and safe.
I think that is all for now. I hope you are all doing well. I’ll be back soon. Have a blessed day. And don’t forget!
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Until next time
