We not only have the holidays rolling in but birthdays as well. My moms birthday was last week. I didn't feel much like posting about it, I have done it every year whether it be for the day or a day or week after. So here I am again. Missing my mom like crazy. I have missed out on having a mom for a lot of special occasions. But you know what I realized just a few minutes ago. My mom is seriously in a better place. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks or believes. She is in heaven with our father God. And because she is there, she is not here where the world is truly going to shit. I hate even talking about this in the same breath as talking about my mom. But the world is really crazy, and I don't see it let up anytime soon. Hollar & Dollar1 Hauls – Are they worth it?
I like to save money where ever I can, using coupons, buying online, and I do both happily. I have been buying from Dollar1.com and hollar.com for a few months now. I am really happy with my purchases. I have received broken items from Hollar before, and they gladly replace it with no hassle. In my recent purchase from Dollar1.com, I bought some EOS lip balms for $1 each. Now that is a fantastic deal, however, upon opening the sweet mint I detected a stale smell which I was not happy with. I have emailed dollar1.com and hope to have my money returned or the item replaced, I doubt the item will be replaced because they are no longer on the website. As I am sure they get the items before the due date and try to quickly sell them out, which they do. It’s Friday! Happy Weekend!
This week went pretty quick. I don't feel I accomplished as much as I wanted to, and honestly planning helps zero lol. Because a lot of things keep coming up that take me away from what I have planned *sigh*. Oh well, it is still fun to plan :P We are a 1 car family, so getting to the shops has to wait for the weekend, unfortunately. I wish I had another car, so I can do some shopping during the week, and we would have more time at home to do things or go out for entertainment purposes. But it is, what it is and we manage. So when Friday hits, I am excited to get to Dollar Tree and see what goodies I can find that I have been drooling over all week hehe. Moved In, and Stressed Out! What is that all about??
So what is up with that? You think with moving you are stress-free because it is all over. And then suddenly you have more stress. Don't get me wrong. We are very happy to have moved into our own house which by the way we installed a new insulation from profoam.com, and have some peace and quiet, unlike before. But I have noticed lately I seem to be getting stressed out. I actually feel like crying at this moment. I know it will pass and I am sure it will. But this can't be healthy. Or is it normal, to be free of stresses from before, just to acquire new ones? LOL, How sad is that? Let's move on. We ordered a new living room set, they were back ordered on one item, so we had to wait an additional 2 weeks, so we did, we got the call that is back and stock and ready for delivery, an additional $160 dollars. We Are Moving!! Yes We Are!
How exciting is that? We are finally moving. I think I have talked about it many times, then it didn't happen, but this time it is going to happen. We are locked into a house, and we are so so very excited. After looking at so many options, and getting a lot of help. Finally we settled on one of the Essex homes, which funnily enough was one of the first options we took a look at. Not saying much more, apart from that I will be very busy packing, and the first room I am currently working on is the hobby/storage/nail/crafting room lol. Just about everything is in here, so I have a big job ahead of me. I am going to try to keep up with my YouTube videos, and blogging while I do this, but as you can see it has been awhile since I posted on my blog.
