It truly is here, Fall. And the temperatures are dropping little by little. Tonight it's going to be in the low 40s. I need to assemble a new heated cat house for Lilo. Speaking of Lilo (she is a semi-feral cat that lives on the deck, and maybe one day will become an inside cat), she hadn't been feeling well last night. She didn't eat much or get up waiting for me like she usually does. It really made me sad :( Today, I checked on her, didn't really want to eat. She got up, went to sit in the sun, then returned to her bed. She finally had a little to eat. I am hoping tomorrow she will feel better. I love that little girl very much. I have my inside girls, so I can't bring her in yet. I know she gets ticks now and then. I felt one under her chin/jaw today, so tomorrow I am removing it. Happy New Year’s Everyone!
We are into the new year now, and I am trying to stick to my new year's resolutions. Did I mention what they were? My first one is to read the Bible daily, and guess what? I haven't done that, yeah I disappointed myself. I do listen to daily prayer, but it is not the same, so that is going to have to change. Why is it I can stick to a diet, but not read the Bible every day? I have to, I need to do this. Dear Lord, please encourage and inspire me to read your word, I need you in my life. Before I go on. I need to do one thing. I am back. I just wanted to check in with a friend. I feel better now. I was going to talk about my sister but I decided not to. We are estranged sadly. Maybe another day. It’s almost Christmas, wow!
I am wowed by the thought of how fast time sped up from my last post in September to now in mid-December. Wow. Just Wow! I get so busy, that it flew by. I actually was very busy updating all my fanlistings over at Thislove.nu, that is where I keep all my fanlisting, just things that I like a lot, made into mini websites, and also other fanlistings other people run that I also like, it can be just about anything from coffee, to cats, to songs such as Amazing Grace. My script was outdated and so was my PHP, as a matter of fact, I just updated the PHP version on this website so it is more secure. So all that had me pretty busy. And to be completely honest, I paid the price by slacking in other areas that need my attention. Is Being Busy An Excuse?
It is for me. I have been so busy, I have not had time to read the Bible. With it being Easter yesterday I decided to spend time reading the Bible. Did I mention I have been reading the Bible? I had to go back and glance at my last post, and yes I have talked about it. The Bible I posted is one I like reading. I love it, it is a beautiful Bible. Since my last post, I have added 4 more Bibles. After researching and visiting a few Christian websites, I learned there are various translations so I became curious. One of my favorite websites is the Blue Letter Bible, I go to it on a regular basis, and they have a smartphone app as well. There is so much content on that website, that it is the only Christian website you will ever need. However, I like to look around through other Christian websites as well. Hello November, already?
This year pretty much flew by pretty quick. I think everyone is looking forward to 2021, I know I am. However I think most of it will be very similar to how it is now. You can't expect change overnight, that is just not realistic. We had snowfall the day before Halloween, that is the first for me here in MA! We usually don't get it until like February, but this was very unexpected, does this mean winter will be filled with a lot of snow? This is possible. Which leads me into my next thought. The stray cats we feed, I know people say don't feed them or they will keep coming around. Well, hello that is the whole purpose I feed them, so they can come around and get something to eat.
