We are into the new year now, and I am trying to stick to my new year’s resolutions. Did I mention what they were? My first one is to read the Bible daily, and guess what? I haven’t done that, yeah I disappointed myself. I do listen to daily prayer, but it is not the same, so that is going to have to change. Why is it I can stick to a diet, but not read the Bible every day? I have to, I need to do this. Dear Lord, please encourage and inspire me to read your word, I need you in my life.
Before I go on. I need to do one thing. I am back. I just wanted to check in with a friend. I feel better now. I was going to talk about my sister but I decided not to. We are estranged sadly. Maybe another day. I pray she and her partner are doing well.
Since starting my diet on January 3rd I believe, nope it is January 2nd I am keeping track of the day I weigh in, the weight, and how much I lost or gained. I also keep the information in MyFitnessPal. Back in 2014-2015, I was dieting, I managed to lose an incredible amount of weight, which made me happy. I felt I hit a plateau, and I wanted to push myself further, so I decided to Juice, a big mistake. I think you can go through either my blog history and/or my Instagram and see what happened.
That is in the past, and even though it does matter, I have to move forward. I was at a weight that did not make me happy. So I have begun again, and no other fast tricks to losing weight, but counting calories, and at the same time doing some low/no carb, and low/no sugar dieting. My first weigh-in was on Sunday, January 8, 2023, and I was so happy with the results. I will be posting a post just for each time I weigh in, as part of my weigh-in progress, you can also follow me on MyFitnessPal, or here on my website. I wanted to mention, that my husband is joining me in dieting as well, not as strict as I am, but he is until he gets to his ideal weight.
I think that is about all for now. Until next time
God Bless
Emily
