Haha kind of. I have been super busy. I had Alice over for a few weeks, so I kind of slacked on a lot of things. Like blogging, I think I got one in like when she first arrived, but after that it was impossible. Anyway I am here and going to continue on now. So what's happened lately? Well I had a decent 4th of July, the weather has been brutal, today it seems a bit cooler, some rain has come to visit us. Other than that, trying to get back into the routine as before. The room has been sorted a bit more, there are still boxes of things that need to be sorted, but I feel we will need another book case, as there are some of Williams books that need to be put somewhere. Happy Father’s Day!
Last year I spoke a bit about the fact that men are not the only fathers. My sister and her partner adopted three children, all siblings, adorable kids. My sister had to be the father on many instances, so I wanted to say there are many women, taking on the role of being a father. I applaud them. About a month or two ago I spoke about doing some remodeling in the kitchen. Finally Done!
Well after about 5 days worth of moving stuff and tossing what wasn't needed we are finally done and finished with that bit of it. Ok well not 100% but I would say 99.7% is that close enough? hehe. Yeah still have some stuff to clear out in the basement, and shed in the back yard. Gosh it's unbelievable how much a person can accumulate after a long period of time. Even 4 short years, you can find yourself in a mountain of things, and what's funnier is, you forget about some, and go out and buy more of it haha. That ever happen to you? The hardest part is over, so I'm glad about that, and I'm sure William is too! Long Weekend!
The weather has changed for the better, not scorching hot, thank goodness for that. But it's going to be a long weekend, so it would be nice to have some cool weather for the Memorial Weekend coming up. It's going to be a busy one for us here, not to mention for a lot of other people. I'm feeling lazy, I think I need to take vitamins or something. I have a good lunch, so I don't know why I am feeling tired :( I just need to focus on things, and once I get rolling, I'll feel better. I can't believe Flash Forward is gone, done with, cancelled *sniff sniff* I liked the show, others I know liked it too. It would be nice to see what happens after the explosion, maybe in a form of a Sunday night movie on Fox, hint hint hehe. TGIF!
Finally the weekend is here, no real big plans, but you never know what can come up. The weekend should bring some nice weather. The week has been cloudy mostly, so *fingers crossed* for some nice sunny weather. Maybe even get out and mow the lawn, it's getting to be a jungle back there hehe. But want to make sure we don't get drenched while trying to mow hehe. Who am I kidding? I'm not the one that would be mowing but I'm just saying. Yesterday I missed the postman because my laptop is upstairs, it's where I do my work. So naturally I didn't hear him, he couldn't really knock on the door either, as the screen door was locked, and the doorbell decided to take a shit hehe.
