Life is full of surprises

October 1, 2007 by Emily 3 Comments

I can't believe the last day I posted as on the 10th omg where had time gone :P I haven't been up to much really. Things are not the best in my personal life I will spare everyone that. I will talk about the last post, about the holiday to Scotland, well the place we planned on going is a very remote place and when weather is really bad sometimes you can get stuck there, or not able to drive anywhere not to mention possibly get stuck on the way there. So we talked and decided to make that another time of the year when the weather is warmer and more beautiful which I agree because I would like to cycle and walk around and absorb the surroundings. So we decided to cancel it due to weather. I decided to jump on the band wagon and make a plug site, it'll be up in a week or so. Will plug it soon as it's done. Alice wants to get the fireplace Continue Reading

Planning Holiday

September 20, 2007 by Emily 1 Comment

Well I said my goodbye to Alice about an hour and a half ago, she is on her way back to London. We had a good time, we didn't do the packing like we had planned something else came up. We spent like 2 days trying to plan our Christmas/New Years holiday, which I am so very excited about. We hopefully will be heading up towards Scotland if plans come out right, well the booking anyway. We plan on driving up, first staying at a lovely Castle woohoo I am so excited about that, but that stay will only be for one night, then we drive on for a few more hours and then stay at another lovely place I forgot the name of that place lol, but it's like a retreat of some kind, looks really nice though and its only for one night. Then we take the Ferry, and go over into Scotland to a cottage we are hoping to be able to book for TWO WEEKS wow huh? This is Continue Reading

Happy 4th of July!

July 4, 2007 by Emily 1 Comment

I'm missing it again! This is a bit early but since I am in England I have to post this now instead of later. But I hope everyone has a fantastic 4th of July and you all be safe, this is probably one of my favorite times amongst others lol, I just love fireworks and there is always so many on this day, and not to mention the awesome BBQ's ahh I miss it all. I hope to share that day someday with Alice, she would just love it. I'm actually kind of sad *feels like crying* because it reminds me of the great BBQ's we had when my mom was around, and how we all went to see the fireworks show at night they were so beautiful. So I'm not up to much, I finally have been able to stop making fanlistings and you know what I'm so happy I did, I feel I was wasting too much time doing that when I can be doing other more productive stuff lol. I had Continue Reading

Weirdness

May 15, 2007 by Emily 3 Comments

Do you ever feel at any time usually it's a feeling you get in a day when things don't feel right, like somewhere , something is not right? Yeah thats what i felt last night, this real weird, loneliness, oddness type thing, I can't put my finger on it, but it just felt so weird. I felt it before I watched this movie Alpha Dog but felt even worse after I saw it. Have you ever seen a movie that disturbed you, like made you sad, heck for that matter have you ever read a book that made you feel like that? I have, I read a book from my favorite author Dean Koontz it's called False, I won't tell you what it's about but after reading it, I cried, cried feeling the unfairness in it, even though that book was not based on any real life story, although I'm sure there are similar true stories in reality. Well last night I had this weirdness feeling, Continue Reading

Cinco de Mayo

May 5, 2007 by Emily 3 Comments

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone. Americans are celebrating Cinco de Mayo today, from experience I recall it to be a very festive time, especially in Los Angeles, California. The music, the food!!! The colorful costumes they where when they perform their dances, it's very exciting to watch, remindes me of Guatemala actually, since its similar but at the same time it's not. Guatemala's independence day is Sept 16, and they have some spectacular things going on in Guatemala. In Amercia though Cinco de Mayo seems to be recognized more, but hey if you are ever in California on Cinco de Mayo then you should check it out downtown, lots of festivities. I got some good feedback on the movie Night Listener, I agree with the marjority it was a good movie. Last night I watched yet again another horror type movie, very interesting movie, I'm really Continue Reading
