I am embarrassed for waiting so long to post. I know better than that. I need to change that. Today my cat Lily has a vet appointment. Last night we gave her 1 pill of gabapentin and about 2 hours later she was really out of it. I looked for her in the room where she usually naps/sleeps but she wasn't there. Earlier I blocked the cat door to the basement, so she wouldn't trip going down the stairs. I found her by the water fountain, apparently she needed water, I am guessing she had some. She was laying down just flat on the carpet, not loafing. I thought yeah the medicine must have hit her. So I picked her up. She usually protests when we try to pick her up, by meowing. Merry Christmas, See You In 2023
I am wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. My husband is off for the next 10 days, and we are going to enjoy each other's company, and try not to get into each other's way, as that can happen sometimes. I try to give him some space, and let him do his thing. Our Christmas has been nice so far. Just last weekend, we went to my in-laws for our annual Christmas luncheon, it was very nice. We had a great time, and I recorded everyone playing the game, that was so much fun. I lost, but my husband won, which was very cool. I think I gained like 15 pounds, and we still are going to my sister-in-law's on Christmas day for our Christmas luncheon. Speaking of gaining weight. When Did It Creep Up?
Valentine's Day crept up like nobody's business. Before I knew it, it was Valentine's Day. I hope you all had a nice one. I spent mine with my husband, who cooked an amazing meal. He always does! I think ever since COVID hit, things have not felt the same, am I in this boat alone? Well, it was here, and now it is gone. I didn't even decorate, and I love decorating, but it wasn't in me this year. I will probably put a few things out for St. Patrick's Day.
