My birthday was 6 days ago, it was really nice because I spent it with the person I wanted to spend it with, my husband. My gosh, it's so weird calling William, my husband. But at the same time, a dream come true. I may not have had a big ideal wedding, but I am happy, and that is what counts. My mother passed away quite a few years ago, so it wouldn't have been the same. I won't lie, I would have wanted a bigger wedding, it just didn't happen and well that is just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. I have the perfect husband, and I will take that over a big wedding any day. He gave me a gorgeous bracelet for my birthday! I cannot believe how many birthdays I have missed with my mother, God rest her soul. I really do miss her. I am married mom, you would love William! I know he would love you too! Fall is here, October is here, and 3 birthdays this month. My mother (RIP), then my husband and my nephew Mike share a birthday on the same day, wow! My nephew has a little girl, and she is the sweetest little thing too. I am going to take a break and continue this post when I return. It is the next day when I started this post. Mother’s Day, Eloping, & More Rain
The last few days have been so nice, I wish that weather was happening over the weekend, so my honey can enjoy it, plus he has outside work he wants to do, and he hasn't been able to because of the rain, that comes every few days, blah. Happy Mother's Day! This is my 17th Mother's Day I will be missing without my mom, God Rest her soul, and may she be reunited with her parents and her cat Juliet. I miss her so much!! Why so much rain? Pretty foliage!
I love the Fall season, but it ruins it when it keeps raining. I can't believe how much rain we have recently gotten. I want to enjoy the Fall season before it begins to snow. I took advantage of the weather yesterday and stepped out to the deck and recorded the beautiful woods behind our house. The leaves changing color and falling, it was really breathtaking in my opinion, but I am biased. Oh yes Happy Halloween!! I decided to do my face up lol. Well first time trying to do a Sugar Skull look, to say the least it didn't come out as I had wanted. I was so very unprepared. I have to say I did have fun doing it, it was an experience I would like to make better next year. I Sew Need To Use My Machine!
I think that title is quite funny, pun intended :P On the serious side. I have had my sewing machine for a few years and I have to admit I have not really used it. I have a few reasons why. The lack of space in our last home. Now that we have moved to our new house. I want to break it out because I want to teach myself to sew holes in my fiances' dress shirts that have no buttons to hold down the collar and make wedding dress alterations for brides. As in the photo below. came across this beautiful men’s V-Neck sweater, although the website lists it as a T-shirt with full sleeves, lol. Trust me it is a V-Neck Men’s sweater, and the quality is fantastic for $5.99, it has been through the wash, and came out as if it had just been bought, this is not an exaggeration.
