No Trailer Yet!?

January 29, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

The weekend has come again. It's going to be a chilly one too. We had light snow yesterday, or was that the day before? In any case, we did. So that has left the air chilly, a real reason to grab a sweater and drink some hot cocoa :) No big plans, I'm accompanying William to his sisters on Saturday, as he's going to do some babysitting, and I didn't feel like being home alone. Besides I wanted to go and see his niece and nephews again, they are just too adorable. Plus it gives me a chance to get out of the house. Hopefully, we don't get any more snow, as that would make the drive more difficult, I'm sure he can handle it though. Earlier in the week, we had some really strong winds, so strong that after the postman arrived and left a package between the door and screen door (it has glass also), I was sitting at the desk, working on Continue Reading

Netflix Rocks~

January 25, 2010 by Emily 1 Comment

It really does, rock that is! I mean we can even use PS3 to be able to watch films or TV shows from Netflix, it's just so awesome. We are catching up with LOST, and a few other shows. I can't brag enough about it. I'm sure there are a lot of people that agree with me. So the weekend is almost over, dinner is in the oven and I am getting hungry. We haven't rearranged the living room and the other room yet. We talked about it this weekend. The main desktop computer is the one that is connected to the router and all. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a wireless card, so I am searching around for the best place to get one. So that when we do move the stuff, basically switch the rooms, the router can stay in this room and the computer area can be moved to the other room. Gosh sounds complicated it doesn't it? It really isn't though. It's Continue Reading

Upgrading This, Upgrade That! Ugh!!

January 20, 2010 by Emily Leave a Comment

For the past 2 days, I've been working on my collective site over at KM and I have been working on upgrading, I think it's an upgrade from FanUpdate to WordPress because there are no more updates being made for FanUpdate, and as much as I liked it, and as easy as it was to install. I felt I needed something that has more updates and fixes. So I decided to install WordPress. Everything is going fine, just creating my pages, as I want my site to be used all around not just the blog portion of it. Lot's of pages, but I will be 100% happier. I have some issues with the Keep In Mind script, I also upgraded that one from the old one I had, which I'm happier about. But getting it to integrate with WP is another thing, so that will take some time. I may, for the time being, make a little layout just for just my KIM, until I figure out how to Continue Reading

I’m a Toys R’ Us Kid!

December 14, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

Omgosh who don't like Toys R' Us, it's literally been years since I stepped into a Toys R' Us, but once in there, omgosh I wished I was a kid again :P I'd walk down aisles and think, omgosh I wish I was a little girl again lol, or something like that, or I'd say "They didn't have this when I was a kid". So I shake my head say "focus, focus" hehe. And we carry on looking for gifts for William's niece and nephews, it was really a lot of fun. I had to keep telling William, don't forget about Maddy, she's one of the twins, Jeremy is the other, and then there is RJ the oldest, they are really cute kids. So we spend a few hours in there, finding what he wanted to get them, but also admiring some of the things that we as adults can enjoy too!! So no snow, which is a good thing, because these windows on this house need to be sealed, Continue Reading

Just A Day Away!

December 3, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

Tomorrow is my birthday

Oh yes, baby! One more day until my birthday ;) wow, it's come so fast, it was just William's birthday not too long ago, and now mine. Then Christmas will be here and then New Years', and before you know it, it'll be Valentine's. Yes, that's how fast it all goes. Gosh, where does the time go? Does time really speed up as you get older? So I woke up this morning groggy as always lol, but then realize it's like 60 something today, although the temperature is supposed to drop. I poked my head out the door as William left for work, and I can feel the warmth in the air, I was like wow! It won't last but it was nice. In California, if we had this kind of sudden change of weather we'd all be saying "earthquake weather" lol, seriously and then one would follow like not too long after, few days or something. Not a big one, but still something Continue Reading
