Turkey day, happy gobble gobble day lol, for those of you who do celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving, for those that do not, have a lovely day :) This year I am spending Thanksgiving here with William, we will be making our own Thanksgiving dinner, his first in his home, he's had this house for 4 years and never made a Thanksgiving dinner, so this will be the first and a historical occasion. This will be a whole new experience for both of us. Last year I was at my sisters', and before that the previous 3 years were in England and as you all know they do not recognize our Thanksgiving day, but that is okay, we don't recognize their Guy Fawkes day either, so yeah. Early Bird, Gets The Worm!
Ok so my day did start pretty early, as it usually does. I'm on the laptop already starting a post. I'm really glad I did laundry this weekend, because there is a lot I'd like to do online, my stuff, plus helping out Alice with her website as well. Not to mention doing a bit of shopping online, got to take advantage of what I can online. I don't have a car at the moment, and well William uses his truck to get to work, so I have to do some of my shopping online. I have things to sort out before I even consider getting another car. I left my other car back in California, trust me it would of never made the road trip to Massachusetts. Besides it would be creepy driving cross country alone *shivers* so I'm best off like this, well sort of lol. New Moon, Star Trek!
I meant to post yesterday, but then a lot came up and I didn't get to. So now I am doing it late in the day lol. My title is about films, so many coming out and have came out. Star Trek for one, The Plan, New Moon! All I plan to see, but tonight I will be seeing Star Trek, yippie! Oh and my birthday is like 2 weeks away, and I'm excited, because lots of special things are going to happen, well I hope *wink* but yes I am very excited about all these films coming out, I am a big Battlestar Galactica fan, so The Plan is going to be awesome, and well who don't like Star Trek? William is a Star Trek freak, no i'm kidding he isn't but he is a very big fan. Omgosh and New Moon, wow, I love the books, all of them, adored the first film, bought it, now New Moon!! I’m Like A Monster
Omgosh today I just felt like a monster. I know I said the wrong things, to certain people, and I'm sorry to them. I need to be caged up during this time of the month lol. It's not funny, and I'm trying to make light of the subject, but gosh I don't know what came over me. Well I think I know, but today was like the worse of the worse. I'm not going to go on about it. I apologise to anyone I was cross with. I can't believe how fast time goes by. It was just Halloween, oh gosh speaking of Halloween, I just loved the theme I used before. If I could I'd keep it longer I would have, but since that time has passed no reason to keep it up. Now we have Thanksgiving getting closer, and then Christmas. Losing A Loved One
Losing a loved one is a difficult time to go through. I lost my mother in 2001, I lost my cat Juliet in 2005, and now I am going to suffer another loss. Although I wasn't with him as long as his owner, I spent quite a bit of time with him, and we bonded. In one of my previous posts, I posted some photos of 'Pupa Bear' a beautiful Black Labrador. We just recently had a visit to the vet because he had not been himself, eating habit and all, everything started changing. Well we had the visit, and we got some really bad news, he was diagnosed with kidney failure, he is 13 years old though. He's had a lovely long life, William's father had him for 9 years, and William 4 years, I had him in my life for only a few months, but in those months gosh it feels like he's been a part of my life from the time he was a puppy.
