We not only have the holidays rolling in but birthdays as well. My moms birthday was last week. I didn't feel much like posting about it, I have done it every year whether it be for the day or a day or week after. So here I am again. Missing my mom like crazy. I have missed out on having a mom for a lot of special occasions. But you know what I realized just a few minutes ago. My mom is seriously in a better place. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks or believes. She is in heaven with our father God. And because she is there, she is not here where the world is truly going to shit. I hate even talking about this in the same breath as talking about my mom. But the world is really crazy, and I don't see it let up anytime soon. Hobby Room at a Crawl
We have been in our new house for 2 months now, and I still don't have my room set up. This is because now I realize lol, that I have too many things, and I tend to hold on to things I no longer need, and are not functional, apart from looking pretty lol. I am a girly girl, and well I cannot help that. I am sure many ladies can relate, right??? Lol Besides going through things, I would like to give away to friends, but I don't because I am on a budget and cannot ship things to everyone for free, I decided the majority will be donated to Salvation Army, it feels good to be able to donate, rather than throw in the garbage. Gel Wraps VS Foil Wraps VS Foil & Cotton Pads – Which is better?
I love to do my own nails, and in between doing my own nails. I will apply fake full nails for a week or two for fun, and to allow my nails to grow out, without adding gels or acrylics, because I tend to cut my natural nails very very short to allow growing time, and getting rid of bad areas or damaged let's say :) So I go visit my local Dollar Tree store, and pick up a few cute patterns, and simply glue them on.Well removing hair and not harming skin is now much easier with the use of technology.You can read more here about. Removing them, must be done by soaking off, and not pulling them off, because you will tear away layers of your own natural nail, and that thins them out considerably. Olive Garden Birthday Dinner
I took my wonderful William, the love of my life to dinner at Olive Garden for his Birthday, you all need to go check out this restaurant if you have not, it is amazing, the food is fresh, and prepared perfectly! I started off with wine tasting, ad after tasting, I had to have a glass, it was sweet and tasted so good. I had a glass of Moscato Primo Amore, I must buy myself a bottle!! I was that good! Will have to go back sometime but until then there is a new french restaurant in town we weill try. I have to share our plates with you all, I had the Herb Grilled Salmon, I love sea food, as long as it's cooked and not raw, hehe. BBQ’s and Sunny Day!
Happy Memorial Day everyone! Well here we are, another one passing us. I want to thank all those who have served and are serving to keep us free and safe. Without you, who knows what our great nation would be like. I won't get into what can be done to make things better, this isn't the time for it. It is a time for remembering and honoring our heros. Today we had a nice BBQ just me and my awesome honey, William. It was a very nice day. During the day I was working on my mani, up until it was time to have our meal. Then we enjoyed each other's company and watched some TV. Over the weekend we went and did a bit of shopping, it was a really nice weekend, it was so nice to be able to have some sun, I am hoping for a lot more during this Spring/Summer season.
