Review: Kellogg’s Special K – Protein Breakfast Shake

April 28, 2014 by Emily Leave a Comment

Being on a diet, I have to watch what I eat and drink. I am a BzzAgent, so I share things that I get offered. This time around I am sharing the Special K Protein Breakfast Shakes. I tried both the Chocolate Mocha and the Vanilla Cappuccino on different days. As part of being a BzzAgent, I do reviews for certain products. Today I did two reviews, but they were done on one of the websites that BzzAgent provided for us to do a review on, the options were Walmart or Amazon I choose Walmart. Before writing my 2nd review, I read the most helpful review, which honestly I was taken aback. Because I had no idea how many carbs are in these shakes. I don't buy many of them, so I had nothing to really compare to. But once reading the review the person wrote that these shakes had the most carbs and sugar than any other shakes, additionally it had Continue Reading

Oh my gosh, I am still waiting for spring to really arrive, I feel like I am always complaining about that, but I am so over winter!! I know, when the real hot weather comes, then I'll be complaining, buy oh my gosh. It's been super windy last few days, plus a bit of a chill. Ugh I am so so over winter!! I have seen signs of spring though, which does make me happy, and I know it's not too far away :) The birds have begun chirping, things are blossoming, but yet, it's windy and still chilly. I have been really busy lately, just the last two days have finally been just relaxing, reading a few things on websites. But since my last post, I have been working on my other websites, and by the time I finish doing some work I have to leave for the day, and then I get no time to post anything. I know, there is no excuse! But really there is lol. Continue Reading

Review: RADICAL Skincare ~ Instant Revitalizing Mask

Radical Skincare - Instant Revitalizing Mask

I have found myself interested in skin care lately. Age catches up to you, and I think it's pretty normal to worry about that every once in a while. It's obsessing over it that's probably not so healthy. Lately I've been reading a lot of articles on Skin Helpers, trying to figure out if I've been doing anything wrong, or what I could be doing better when it comes to taking care of my face and skin. Are you ready to look and feel beautiful then try cosmetic surgery. At Jim Brantner Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, They provide bristol plastic and cosmetic surgery for you. I decided to share my finding with you guys here. Hope they help you as well! 1. Cleanse twice daily When you wash your face, you remove the dirt, grime, and excess oil that has settled inside your pores and atop your skin. This will prevent clogged pores, Continue Reading

Review: Meaningful Beauty Cindy Crawford

Meaningful Beauty

I come to you with another review for this anti-aging product. This comes as compliments of influenster the word of mouth website, where you can try products for free, and I opted to try this. I am in my late 40's and think it's time to start using anti-aging products. I don't have very many wrinkles for my age, which surprises people, but I am starting to see I need a little help :) Some people have suggested I look at botox services. I'm not completely opposed to the idea, but I think I still have time to try other products that might work a little slower but still help me. In the long run I may have to get that done however. We'll see. In the meantime I've pretty much kept out of the sun. When I was younger I was at the beach in the sun all the time, but then I stopped, which is a good thing because that is why I don't have as many Continue Reading

Review: MicroTouch SwitchBlade

November 3, 2013 by Emily 1 Comment

I had high hopes for this MicroTouch SwitchBlade, but I was disappointed. William has always had short hair, I cut his hair on a regular basis, and I know what works and doesn't. He does tidy up on parts I may over look. Having a good trimmer to touch up is essential. I broke his last razor by accident, so I had to replace it. I first seen the advertisement on TV for this product and thought 'hmm' maybe I could get him this for his birthday. I held off and bought him something else because I wasn't sure. I was going to look around for reviews, but then by sheer luck. I come across a chance to try this for free!! Of course you know I was all over that. PROS - I love that it has the ears & nose blade, that comes useful as you get older, I tried the nose one hehe. It worked perfectly, even though we had a nose hair trimmer already, Continue Reading
