Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone. Americans are celebrating Cinco de Mayo today, from experience I recall it to be a very festive time, especially in Los Angeles, California. The music, the food!!! The colorful costumes they where when they perform their dances, it's very exciting to watch, remindes me of Guatemala actually, since its similar but at the same time it's not. Guatemala's independence day is Sept 16, and they have some spectacular things going on in Guatemala. In Amercia though Cinco de Mayo seems to be recognized more, but hey if you are ever in California on Cinco de Mayo then you should check it out downtown, lots of festivities. Happy May everyone, anyone in the states got something exciting going for Cinco De Mayo? Ahh I miss the festivities in Los Angeles, will definitely have to catch it next year. Hoping to be in Calif by then. Well I updated my Movie Challenges page yay for me, phew took a while but got caught up. Glad about that. I watched 2 good movies the past two days, I seen The Good Shepard and The Night Listener, someone told me The Night Listener wasn't going to be good, but as I always say I don't take no ones advice on a movie but my own. Well I turned out liking it, it was a good story and I think based on true events, so whomever didn't like it, just didn't understand it. *shrugs* Ahh well. What a view!
I took this sometime ago, and I've wanted to post it because I thought the colors in the sky looked so beautiful, this was when it was going into evening. I just thought wow, need to capture that and I did! Also the fact the posts look nice when I add some kind of interesting picture, not avatars or anything I'm not really into that. I changed my cam picture finally lol, it's of the beer Guinness, you ever tasted that if you drink beer now and then, well it's a nice beer its Irish, I enjoy one now and then. Oh the weather
So spring has been around since what March? Are you feeling it? I am sort of, I mean the weather has been beautiful and well just last week I think it was. I was just sitting around writing something on my laptop when I hear this buzzing sound, so I pause whatever I had if it was noise or muted the TV or something I don't recall, but then I sat and listened to see what it was. Well there it goes again, so I got curious to see what it is, well it was a bumble bee, I was like oh wow, it must of got in from the bedroom window, so I did what I needed to do to let it out of the house. Fine then a few days later, what do I hear again! Yes! A buzzing sound just like the first time, so again I go and see where it's at, I found it, and again opened a window so it can find its way out, the thing this time was no window was open. She’s coming home
At least for a day and a half but thats better than nothing. She is going to the wedding, so I am going to get a chance to have a whole day with her 2nights and 1 day, yay! Haven't seen her in like 2 weeks, I think, well since the 28th of March I think gosh I don't remember, seems longer though. I'm just glad she's coming. While she was out jogging one day, she accidentally dropped her mobile phone and lost it *grr*, so I can't get a hold of her when I'd like, like right now!!! I know when we talked she said she'd be coming on Thursday, possibly late in the evening, but I was hoping I'd at least get one call even if it's on Skype. So I have Skype and Yahoo open hoping to hear from her.
