I am wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. My husband is off for the next 10 days, and we are going to enjoy each other's company, and try not to get into each other's way, as that can happen sometimes. I try to give him some space, and let him do his thing. Our Christmas has been nice so far. Just last weekend, we went to my in-laws for our annual Christmas luncheon, it was very nice. We had a great time, and I recorded everyone playing the game, that was so much fun. I lost, but my husband won, which was very cool. I think I gained like 15 pounds, and we still are going to my sister-in-law's on Christmas day for our Christmas luncheon. Speaking of gaining weight. One of my New Year's resolutions is to get back on the treadmill, which my husband bought me a couple of years ago. At that time I was on a Continue Reading
I Think It Is Time To Let This Domain (Emily.nu) Go
It is good until April 2023, and since I am not really doing much with it besides an occasional blog post, I don't see a point in paying so much for the domain name. Times are hard, and I have to let some things go, this and maybe another 2 domains. I have had this for almost 10 years, wow. But even so, it is time. I have said this at least 2 times before and never did it. What I want to do is import all my posts from this blog, into my other blog, even if I have 2 posts on the same day. But figuring that out was my issue before. I am hoping I have better luck this time around. I enjoy blogging, and I wish I could do it more, but time is the issue. I write in my planner as if it was a daily blog summarizing of course. Typing is easier, and faster, but I also enjoy using my colored pens, they are so much fun to write with. And people Continue Reading
Happy New Year! 2022!
Here we are into 2022. I pray that this year is better for everyone worldwide. The last 2 years have not been that great, it is insane how much time has gone by since things have gone wacko. I don't know what other way to put it. Our Christmas was nice, at home together. I enjoyed my husband's time off from work, and I know he needed it so much, he works hard, and a lot. So vacation is precious to him. I think he enjoyed it very much. I spent my time updating my fanlisting script on both my fanlisting collective and my web directory, so they are done, with a few minor issues but fully running. I am happy about that. I had also cut down on some fanlistings and applied for a few more. I may close a few more as well, I have a few ideas. It is time now to get back to listing and selling things again as I was doing before the Continue Reading
Happy Birthday, Jesus
Happy birthday Jesus! Thank you for all that you have given me in my life. Merry Christmas everyone, I am so sorry I am late coming here to write a post, but here I am. We were going to spend our Christmas eve with my sister-in-law and her family, and then someone at my husband's work turned out getting COVID from his son and didn't notify the company until later. So now everyone is upset because it has changed their plan for Christmas. Now people can get angry, but in all honesty, this could be a blessing in disguise. The way I see it now is, our plans were altered for a reason. Only the good Lord knows why they were changed, anything could have happened, from an accident to gosh death, God forbid. We had a very nice quiet Christmas at home with our 2 cats. When I think about cats, I think about the 2 outside cats that I Continue Reading
It’s almost Christmas, wow!
I am wowed by the thought of how fast time sped up from my last post in September to now in mid-December. Wow. Just Wow! I get so busy, that it flew by. I actually was very busy updating all my fanlistings over at Thislove.nu, that is where I keep all my fanlisting, just things that I like a lot, made into mini websites, and also other fanlistings other people run that I also like, it can be just about anything from coffee, to cats, to songs such as Amazing Grace. My script was outdated and so was my PHP, as a matter of fact, I just updated the PHP version on this website so it is more secure. So all that had me pretty busy. And to be completely honest, I paid the price by slacking in other areas that need my attention. Since it is Christmas time, I wanted to share a fanlisting I created for the short film A Charlie Brown Christmas, I Continue Reading
