My birthday was 6 days ago, it was really nice because I spent it with the person I wanted to spend it with, my husband. My gosh, it's so weird calling William, my husband. But at the same time, a dream come true. I may not have had a big ideal wedding, but I am happy, and that is what counts. My mother passed away quite a few years ago, so it wouldn't have been the same. I won't lie, I would have wanted a bigger wedding, it just didn't happen and well that is just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. I have the perfect husband, and I will take that over a big wedding any day. He gave me a gorgeous bracelet for my birthday! Spring, Rainy Easter, and DIYing
That sums it up. I love Spring don't get me wrong, I loved it more when I lived in California and I was actually able to enjoy it heh. Spring here is different, it is wet lol. We get a lot of rain, a day or so of just cloudy days, and then a day or so of very sunny ideal Spring weather. I would never leave here without my honey, it is home regardless of the weather. Moving along, below are some DIYs I did that I will talk about in my blog, they were so much fun to do. I had such awesome inspiration, and tutorials. I Sew Need To Use My Machine!
I think that title is quite funny, pun intended :P On the serious side. I have had my sewing machine for a few years and I have to admit I have not really used it. I have a few reasons why. The lack of space in our last home. Now that we have moved to our new house. I want to break it out because I want to teach myself to sew holes in my fiances' dress shirts that have no buttons to hold down the collar and make wedding dress alterations for brides. As in the photo below. came across this beautiful men’s V-Neck sweater, although the website lists it as a T-shirt with full sleeves, lol. Trust me it is a V-Neck Men’s sweater, and the quality is fantastic for $5.99, it has been through the wash, and came out as if it had just been bought, this is not an exaggeration. It’s Fall Ya’ll, Finally!
I was beginning to wonder when Fall would actually hit us here in Massachusetts, at least where we are. And yes it is here, it is cold and my hands are drying up faster now. I have to continuously moisturize them or they can get bad, same with my legs and arms. This is our first Fall in our new home, it is so super exciting. We get lots and lots of leaves fall in the backyard, my honey mows them up and throws them into the little forest behind us. We did see what it was like during the Winter as we got the end of Winter time here. It was very deceiving, the yard is much bigger than it looks. It is one of those illusion type things lol. What?? The end of January already?
Wow, just Wow! I cannot believe it is the end of January already!! I have been having fun, though, making little Valentine DIYs. Oh my gosh how Pinterest is so inspirational! Thank you so much!! I lack creativity it seems lol. I will post a few of the little DIYs I have done, as mentioned, very small, nothing spectacular! But they were fun to make! Cute right?? :) So lately I have been thinking of opening yet another website. I have a reseller so I can host as many domains as I would like, and since I am a huge nail polish fan, I maybe create one just for that. Fun right? Sadly, I cannot afford to buy nail polish once they hit the market, I don't have that kind of cash, and we are saving for a house, so I have to watch what I buy.
