It is hard to believe that the cold season is here, and the holidays are right around the corner. I have done a little shopping, but still have more to do. As for my weight, I think this past month has been particularly challenging for me. I sometimes have no willpower. I suppose I often reflect on my life, taking my age into account, and remind myself that I don't have much time left, so I want to enjoy certain things. I also think I would like to reach my weight goal I set for myself. This past year, I have maintained the 200 lbs, going over one or two pounds, but this month has just been really bad, and the holidays are coming, which will make it worse. In my last weigh-in, I gained 7 lbs, although 2 lbs of those are from the week before, so really it's 5 lbs. I am bummed out, and I do feel those 7 lbs already. Keeping Busy & May Change Domain Names
I have been busy, but when aren't I right? There just isn't enough time in a day, to do all that you want to do. And even when you are busy, you just have to take some time out for yourself. It is healthy. I recently posted a weigh-in, as recent as today (Jan 19, 2023), depending on when I post this lol. I am happy with those results, although I know they won't always be what I want, all I can do is try my best. It is better than not trying at all. It is raining today, a dreary day. It got colder in my hobby room, and then I realized it was raining. It always gets colder when it rains. I am surprised we haven't got a lot of snow. However, it is normal for us to get a lot of snow from February through March. I am kind of looking forward to it, but at the same time, I am not. Momo’s Doing Well, Holidays & COVID
There is so much that has gone on. In my last post, I had Momo in the basement recovering from surgery, I worried a lot about his eye. I feel cats should have all their senses to survive in the wild. Well after a week of recovering, and hoping the medication helped Momo's eye, it was time to release him. It appeared as if his eye was healing, but after releasing him into our backyard, and keeping an eye on his eye. I didn't notice it healing up more. I am so sick with worry for Momo, and recapturing him, would be difficult, I would need a different trap to use, more of a drop trap, which is what I should have purchased originally, but it is what it is. And now I am trying to find someone to lend me it or save up to purchase one. Texting While Driving
This morning as we sipped some coffee, we were watching the morning news, and they were talking about texting while driving and how dangerous it can be, I completely agree with that. They provided a commercial that is being shown on youtube at this time, about 4 girls driving down a road, the driver texting, well you can imagine the rest, but watch the video below so you can see what happens. It's so very sad. Keep in mind girls are not the only ones texting and doing other things such as driving and walking down the street. Warning: It is a graphic video. I am lost
I really don't know what to do sometimes. I want to add a new theme here, but just haven't been "into" doing it you know? Sometimes we just get out of the "web" mood, and i'm kind of like that at the moment, but I don't completely abandon things. I still check up, and I still reply to emails and what not. I am in need of some motivation lol. Anyway apart from all that, I'm doing okay. I have a lot on my mind, and most I won't even bother posting on here. Holidays are finally over yay! Things are getting back to normal. I had such a great holiday though. I talked to my best mate last night, and she said that she is thinking of coming for a holiday as well, maybe a 6 month holiday which is cool. But we'll see what happens with that.
