L is for The Lake House #AtoZChallenge

April 13, 2012 by Emily 9 Comments

So today is the letter L, which will be for the film by the name The Lake House, this is one of those romance films, and I just adore Sandra Bullock, I watch just about everything she stars in. This is a really sweet film, and personally it just makes your mind wander. Can this really happen? What if it did? I think lots of people think those type of things. This film is a 2006 remake of the South Korean film by the name Il Mare, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock star as Alex Wyler and Kate Forster. What's this film about? An independent-minded doctor (Sandra Bullock) who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its newest resident, a frustrated architect (Keanu Reeves). When they discover that they're actually living two years apart, they must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary Continue Reading

K is for Killer Elite #AtoZChallenge

April 12, 2012 by Emily 4 Comments

I am all for a good action film, and I have to say this film has it all, Killer Elite, I'm all for things blowing up, car chases, and throwing in a few good looking men, this film does not disappoint! The film is based on a true story, Killer Elite pits two of the worlds' most elite operatives - Danny, an ex-special ops agent (Jason Statham) and Hunter, his longtime mentor (Robert De Niro) - against the cunning leader of a secret military society ('Clive Owen' ). Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse - where the predators become the prey. If you are into action films, this is something you should watch, if you are a fan of Jason Statham, Clive Owen or Robert De Niro, you have to catch this film. I love all these men, the films Continue Reading

J is for Jeepers Creepers (2001) #AtoZChallenge

April 11, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

The first thing I thought about today was my sister, and her name happens to start with a 'J', so I want to quickly say Happy Birthday to her! Happy Birthday Jackie! I Love you, I hope you have a fantastic day, and make this day as special as you can. Wish I was there, but I am in spirit! Ok moving along so we are in full swing with this AtoZ challenge, everyone having fun? *raises hand* I am! OK so today I have to share a film called Jeepers Creepers, over the weekend, actually I think it was Saturday, I was flipping through the channels, just to watch something as I had lunch. And the film Jeepers Creepers came on, and thought instantly I loved this film, it freaked me out!! I loved it but freaked me out? Yeah that's what I said. It's such a creepy film, and scary, if you are into horrors, I suggest watching this, if you aren't then Continue Reading

I is for Inception #AtoZChallenge

April 10, 2012 by Emily 10 Comments

This was another great film. I get entertained easily, by many things, but when it comes to films, I get real picky. Ever since meeting my wonderful William, my eyes opened up to a lot more than chick flicks lol. So I have him to thank for. I'm a SyFy girl now! Ok well today's AtoZ letter is the I for the film Inception. This film can really get you to think, the concept is amazing. Anyway so what is all this nonsense about Inception? Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything Continue Reading

G is for Ghost #AtoZChallenge

April 7, 2012 by Emily 4 Comments

I remember when I first seen this film, I cried, I admit it. I did cry. Back then I just loved these type of films, love stories hehe. Now it's a little different, I don't watch as much love stores, unless they are very different, and this one was. A classic that has just recently been made into a musical, Ghost the musical. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I heard this, at least they didn't re-make a film about it. I'm not sure how I would of felt about that, probably the same way I felt about Footloose, I am curious to know what the musical would be like, I don't think I'll be seeing it, but I am going to keep my ears open to see what the public thinks. So anyway, what is this film about for those of you who haven't seen it? Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Molly (Demi Moore) are a very happy couple and deeply in love. Walking Continue Reading
