I cannot believe how fast 2018 zipped by us. We (William and myself) were just talking about how fast 2018 went by. It feels like it was just Christmas, and then here is Christmas again. And look we are officially 7 days into the new year! How did that happen? Lol. So let's start with what my New Years resolutions are, and I sure do need to keep more than one. First I would start with continuing my diet back on track as best I can, without taking the fun of living life. Hello September! Fall is Almost Here!
Nineteen days until the official first day of Fall! Wow, already so hard to believe. Just today I was looking out the kitchen window into the backyard and I saw a few leaves fall. I turned to William and told him, "I just saw a few leaves fall". He says "bite your tongue". Yeah, I don't think he is ready for Fall and to be quite honest, I'm not either. We are really enjoying our summer. During our Labor Day weekend, my honey as I like to refer to William spent some time doing some repairs to the house, not urgent repairs but things we wanted to fix, like our faucet in the bathroom needed replacing. We had recently had the bathroom redone, and by the way, it looks gorgeous. Back to the sink, yeah we used our old faucet and thought it was time for a new one, so a new went up. It’s Friday! Happy Weekend!
This week went pretty quick. I don't feel I accomplished as much as I wanted to, and honestly planning helps zero lol. Because a lot of things keep coming up that take me away from what I have planned *sigh*. Oh well, it is still fun to plan :P We are a 1 car family, so getting to the shops has to wait for the weekend, unfortunately. I wish I had another car, so I can do some shopping during the week, and we would have more time at home to do things or go out for entertainment purposes. But it is, what it is and we manage. So when Friday hits, I am excited to get to Dollar Tree and see what goodies I can find that I have been drooling over all week hehe. Hobby Room at a Crawl
We have been in our new house for 2 months now, and I still don't have my room set up. This is because now I realize lol, that I have too many things, and I tend to hold on to things I no longer need, and are not functional, apart from looking pretty lol. I am a girly girl, and well I cannot help that. I am sure many ladies can relate, right??? Lol Besides going through things, I would like to give away to friends, but I don't because I am on a budget and cannot ship things to everyone for free, I decided the majority will be donated to Salvation Army, it feels good to be able to donate, rather than throw in the garbage. Still Sorting The Hobby Room
First and foremost, Happy Star Wars Day, May the Fourth be with you!!! Let's chat about what I am up to recently. The 'Hobby Room'! I don't call it the craft room, I don't call it the nail room because this room will cover all those things. I am all about a little of this, and a little of that. I also do my recording in this room. Once I figure out how everything will go. I stopped and decided to start a blog post. I bought this extension for my tripod, but I am now seeing I am going to either have to get the weight necessary to balance out the camera, even though the Sony is very light weight.
