Fall Is In The Air & All-Around Us

September 23, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

It has been about 2 weeks and the leaves had already been changing here in Massachusetts. Yesterday was the first day of Fall. The temperatures are lower now, it is nippier early in the mornings. I have enjoyed the breezy afternoons though. I love being able to open up the windows and let airflow through the house. I think today I will change my kitchen curtains, I have had a lemon theme up all Summer and have loved it. But now it is time to change them. I have a plaid set I bought last year that I'll be putting up, that we will use through the holidays. I am going to look around and see if there is a Fall theme I can find, but if not then the plaid will do. I think it is more of a Christmas/Valentine's theme, more so than Fall. But I suppose it can work for Fall too. I have a leaves theme in mind over plaid. I will have to Continue Reading

Getting Organized, or Trying To!

January 25, 2019 by Emily Leave a Comment

Why does getting organized take so much time. You realize how much you have when you do the littles of organizing lol. Even keeping up with my planner takes time. So it is a lot of stuff I try to juggle. Sometimes I think I overwhelm myself so much. I get stressed, and then I get a weird head ache that only affects my left back side, weird, like right behind my ear. Is that possibly from the fall down the basement stairs last year? Gosh I hope not :( This is how I feel sometimes, except my hair doesn't get like that hehe. I am seriously thinking of just donating some nail polishes that I have had for a long time since I have newer polishes now. I really love my OPI, China Glaze, Orly, Essie, Julep, KISS Gel I have a lot of Sinful Colors that I really don't want to part with, but if I did, I would rather sell the lot to someone Continue Reading

Happy Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2018 by Emily Leave a Comment

Oh just a quick hello to say Happy Valentine's Day. We are having a lovely day. We had a nice dinner together, gave each other a few things. Actually, I had been giving my honey a little goody each day until today. I thought it was a lot of fun to do. And he had something to look forward to it every day, I think he really enjoyed it. Today I didn't give him one, as we are spending our real "Valentine's Day" on Friday or Saturday because he works like everyone else lol. But our girls did give him something and a card, of course, I helped out :) He laughed but love it. I had been decorating the house since before February started, and I didn't get everything done I wanted, oh well. I guess it will have to wait until next year. Something to look forward to, but I am happy with the way it has gone, we both have enjoyed it. He went and Continue Reading

February, Organizing & Keto

February 2, 2018 by Emily Leave a Comment

February, the month of love, ahhh! Another excuse to go shopping lol. Last month I posted, what once. See I must do better than that. By the time the end of the day comes, I don't want to type anymore lol. Let's move on from this, shall we? What have I been up to, and how are my goals to achieve my New Years resolutions going. Organizing - I am working on it. I have moved the Christmas stuff I bought on clearance down to the basement, but I still have to go down there and find a bin for it, as I don't want it to sit in bags, that just won't do, and William wouldn't like it either. He likes organization, imagine what he feels when he comes into my craft room lol. My new Cricut is still in the box. Like I said my organizing is going slow but it is going. I have about 4 boxes of friend mail sent by one lovely friend of mine, Barbara who I Continue Reading

What?? The end of January already?

January 22, 2017 by Emily Leave a Comment

Wow, just Wow! I cannot believe it is the end of January already!! I have been having fun, though, making little Valentine DIYs. Oh my gosh how Pinterest is so inspirational! Thank you so much!! I lack creativity it seems lol. I will post a few of the little DIYs I have done, as mentioned, very small, nothing spectacular! But they were fun to make! Cute right?? :) So lately I have been thinking of opening yet another website. I have a reseller so I can host as many domains as I would like, and since I am a huge nail polish fan, I maybe create one just for that. Fun right? Sadly, I cannot afford to buy nail polish once they hit the market, I don't have that kind of cash, and we are saving for a house, so I have to watch what I buy. The cool thing about the website, is that I will also be selling polish I don't care much for, so Continue Reading
