So here is my September Birchbox, yay! I enjoyed this one. They had a few good treats in the box, some nice samples, and some goodies that I really like. So let me tell you what I got in Septembers Birchbox! I really like what I got. I can’t say this enough, it’s a thrill to be able to try a product I never heard of, but that has a good reputation, or that I have heard of but never got the opportunity to try. Like in this months, Color Club polish, I have been wanting to try it, and yay I get to know, I’m not happy about the color, but nothing I can do about it This is what I got.
BVLGARI Mon Jasmin Noir – The heart of this fragrance, sambac jasmine, is known as an aphrodisiac because of its rich, musky scent. Top notes of lily of the valley lean toward a delicate femininity, but the nougatine and wood base anchor the fragrance and develop a subtle addictive personality. Retail Price: $83.00 50ml.
My thoughts: My sample is not that big, as you can see from the photo and video at the bottom, but the scent is amazing!!!! If I could afford it, I would definitely buy it.
Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25+ – A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there’s no need for foundation or cover-up. Think of it as the Swiss Army Knife of your beauty cabinet. Retail $32.00 for 1.7 fl oz.
My thoughts: Again this is not the sample I have
LiQWd Professional Volumizing Catalyst – It’s a catch-22: we love the look of sleek, flat-ironed locks, but the heat styling leaves our hair lacking volume. The solution to this conundrum? LiQWd’s body-boosting spray. It’s made with a revolutionary moisturizing ingredient that amplifies each strand, even after straightening with a flat iron. Unlike traditional styling sprays, the light mist isn’t sticky and leaves hair soft and bouncy. Retail $22 for 120 ml.
My thoughts: I have yet to try my sample, but since I do use a flat iron this is going to be perfect, and a nice treat to try out.
LiQWd Volumizing Shampoo – Rich in fatty acids, rice bran wax pumps up volume while protein-rich wheat amino acids penetrate into the hair shaft to smooth rough cuticles and tamp down frizz. Meanwhile, soy and wheat proteins restore strength to hair, making it appear fuller. Retail $24.00 for 350 ml.
My thoughts: I haven’t tried this either, but for that price I’m sure it’s going to be super nice!
Liqwid Volumizing Conditioner – A trio of vitamins (A, C, and E) deliver antioxidants that protect hair against pollutants and the fading effects of the sun. Panthenol is a proven moisturizer that nourishes the hair shaft from the inside out, while rice bran wax helps hair appear fuller. Finally, protein-rich amino acids helps hair retain moisture. Visit https://properpuss.com to learn more about waxing and hair removal.
My Thoughts: We can’t have shampoo without the conditioner, so it was cool they gave us all 3 to use together, I plan to use it this week. So in the up coming post, I will probably mention it
*EXCLUSIVE* Birchbox and Color Club® Custom Collection – Put a Pin In It is a gilded rose gold that brightens any skin tone. Insta-This is a deep cobalt blue, while Status Update is a creamy grey that dries to a glossy finish. Tweet Me is a creamy chartreuse that you’ll want to rave about in 140 characters. Each color looks fabulous alone, or you can mix and match the shades to create eye-catching nail art. Retail $8 (
My thoughts: It sounds pretty standard with some high end polish, and that isn’t even that high end lmao. I didn’t get the one in the picture, I got Insta This, it’s a purple one, and i’m not that crazy about Purple =\ But whatever I guess hey?
EXCLUSIVE – twistband™ Lace up for Fall – Lace was a fixture on the Fall 2012 runways, and these sweet little numbers take their cue straight from the catwalks. They keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. This colorful collection comes with twelve ties, so you’ll always have plenty of spares on hand. A Birchbox exclusive you won’t find anywhere else! Retail $22 for a pack of 12
My thoughts: These are cute, I have’t wore it yet, but it does have a look of lace, even though it’s stretch, very cute! But the price will keep me from buying it
So there you go the Birchbox for September 2012. They are sample sizes, and once in a while you get some full sizes, but for $10 a month, I think it is not bad. You do discover a lot of new products out there, and sometimes you get some that you can actually afford, so this is a good way of seeing what is new out there! Hope you enjoyed, I have a photo of my box, and a video at the bottom of the page.
If you got this far, give yourself a pat on the back!! Thanks so much for dropping by, and I sure do hope you leave a little message even if its saying hi and mentioning something in the blog, but thank you all the same
