I was loving the weather over the weekend. I'm glad it was gorgeous for Mother's day, but now how I am hating it, it's cold, and over cast, no sun in sight. I'll have to wait for the weekend, as the weather is suppose to soar high like in the 80's on Friday or Saturday, so get your picnic, bathing suits and all that summer gear ready, and take advantage of it, just in case the clouds decide to come in and ruin the week hehe. I'm hoping to be able to go to the Drive-in with my sweetheart this weekend, since the weather reports seem to be good, hopefully it is going to be nice. I love drive-in's they are so much fun. Happy Mother’s Day To All The Lovelies!
Well let me begin by saying, I'm not a mother myself, although sometimes I wish it would of happened to me, but it just wasn't in the stars I suppose. I am an aunt and have seen my niece and nephews grow up to be wonderful adults. Now I am watching their kids grow up, so that would make me a grand aunt, wow that sounds old hehe. Right well being an auntie is as close as I got to be a mother. I recall one time, my mom and myself went to the mall with the kids, they were so cute and little, you know the terrible twos age around there anyway, and we were browsing in a store, and a lady at the counter said the kids were beautiful because they were/are *grin*, and she said you have beautiful kids, you know I loved the fact she thought they were mine, that I didn't say anything. Getting Organised Is Going To Be Fun
Went on a shopping adventure with the boyfriend, I finally got my things for getting started with doing my nails, I'm really excited about it! I got a really great deal on the manicure table, it's used, but in excellent condition, the wheels have some issues but William is going to reinforce them and they will be just fine. Again it's just for starting, if it's something I decide to take on as long term thing then perhaps after properly going to school for it, and getting certified then I can get a better one, but this one is just perfect! I have many times wanted to visit Florida, specifically city of Boca Raton, I have heard great things about it. My boyfriends father lives in Florida, not sure what part though, that's a whole other story as to why I don't know lol. But yeah we have had conversations about living there, but honestly I'm not a big fan of humidity, but hey if it's anything like it is here, then I will be fine :) So I told him yeah it would be a good place to retire (not that we are ready for that yet) lol. But it's good to do a little planning. So I told him, it would be amazing to be able to have our very own custom home architect, and have the house designed for us. Learning To Do Acrylic Nails Will Be Fun!
Well I certainly didn't expect to start May with showers, those are suppose to be for April only hehe. I really didn't expect it to rain today, then again I didn't watch a lot of the news, so I guess that is a bit of a surprise. Currently they have been installing new roof on the entire complex, this past week it was so super loud, but I am happy they moved on to another part of the complex, so we don't have to deal with that noise, we couldn't even leave the house without being escorted, they said they didn't want things falling on us which is understandable. So this past month was full of posts of A to Z I am so glad that is over with. I just felt so pressured to have to do a post everyday, but in some ways I'm glad I did go through with it and didn't quit before the actual challenge ended.
