I have been busy, but when aren't I right? There just isn't enough time in a day, to do all that you want to do. And even when you are busy, you just have to take some time out for yourself. It is healthy. I recently posted a weigh-in, as recent as today (Jan 19, 2023), depending on when I post this lol. I am happy with those results, although I know they won't always be what I want, all I can do is try my best. It is better than not trying at all. It is raining today, a dreary day. It got colder in my hobby room, and then I realized it was raining. It always gets colder when it rains. I am surprised we haven't got a lot of snow. Happy New Year’s Everyone!
We are into the new year now, and I am trying to stick to my new year's resolutions. Did I mention what they were? My first one is to read the Bible daily, and guess what? I haven't done that, yeah I disappointed myself. I do listen to daily prayer, but it is not the same, so that is going to have to change. Why is it I can stick to a diet, but not read the Bible every day? I have to, I need to do this. Dear Lord, please encourage and inspire me to read your word, I need you in my life. Before I go on. I need to do one thing. I am back. I just wanted to check in with a friend. I feel better now. I was going to talk about my sister but I decided not to. We are estranged sadly. Maybe another day. Merry Christmas, See You In 2023
I am wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. My husband is off for the next 10 days, and we are going to enjoy each other's company, and try not to get into each other's way, as that can happen sometimes. I try to give him some space, and let him do his thing. Our Christmas has been nice so far. Just last weekend, we went to my in-laws for our annual Christmas luncheon, it was very nice. We had a great time, and I recorded everyone playing the game, that was so much fun. I lost, but my husband won, which was very cool. I think I gained like 15 pounds, and we still are going to my sister-in-law's on Christmas day for our Christmas luncheon. Speaking of gaining weight. I Think It Is Time To Let This Domain (Emily.nu) Go
It is good until April 2023, and since I am not really doing much with it besides an occasional blog post, I don't see a point in paying so much for the domain name. Times are hard, and I have to let some things go, this and maybe another 2 domains. I have had this for almost 10 years, wow. But even so, it is time. I have said this at least 2 times before and never did it. What I want to do is import all my posts from this blog, into my other blog, even if I have 2 posts on the same day. But figuring that out was my issue before. I am hoping I have better luck this time around. I enjoy blogging, and I wish I could do it more, but time is the issue. I write in my planner as if it was a daily blog summarizing of course. Typing is easier, and faster, but I also enjoy using my colored pens, they are so much fun to write with. Down For Almost A Month
Wow, I am shocked that I did not notice that my website was down since Nov 2, 2022, due to Jetpack, well I updated Jetpack and it is working again. I am so glad WordPress has a Recovery Mode, which they send a link to when something goes wrong with WordPress, and this helped me out, I am so glad for that. As usual, I have no excuse not to come and update. I update my planner every day, so I should do similar to my blog. This is the only reason I discovered my website was down. The hosting is fine, the domain name is fine, and it was the Jetpack plugin. Apart from that almost terrible incident, things have been going along fine. From my past posts, Momo has been coming around regularly to have a meal or two. I still wish I could swoop him up and bring him in. He has the cutest little meow.
