Just When You Think Things Are Getting Better?!

July 25, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

what is normal anyway?

I was under the impression that things were starting to normalize with things re-opening, and then the bomb drops that they may shut it down again in the Fall. What the heck is really going on here? I started writing this post 3 weeks or so ago, and then I got very sick, and anything computer-related stopped instantly. Three weeks ago, I wanted to talk about how you kept yourself busy during the shutdown, and now it looks like it may happen again. Please say it is not going to happen, come on we cannot do this again. Putting all that aside, I am still curious what everyone did with their time, during the shutdown, heck it may give others something to consider if it happens again, which I pray to the good Lord it does not. What did you do to keep yourself occupied? Were you still working, or did you have a lot of downtimes? My husband Continue Reading

Is It Really Going Back To Normal?

June 17, 2021 by Emily 1 Comment

Finally, everything is opening up, and what a great time of the year for that to happen, Spring/Summer! Oh my goodness, I am loving the weather, sure it gets a bit humid and hot and whatnot. But it is so nice to have the windows open, and letting fresh air in. Opposed to the Winter, which by the way I love too, but too much of it can get depressing. So, thank you my dearest Lord for giving us sunshine again! Summer officially starts on Sunday!! What have I been up to, a lot of repetitive stuff, but stuff that has to be done? I am a reseller part-time, so I need to keep on top of that. Trying to be more organized is a task in itself. I have gone through the whole Happy Planner phase. From regular size Erin Condren spiral planner to regular size Happy Planner to small Happy Planner or it is mini I think it is called. I only purchased Continue Reading

Good Golly, Has It Been A Minute

May 13, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

We are into Spring, and we have rain, and sunshine, off and on. It has been a hot minute since I last posted. There has been so much going on, and I honestly have not had time to update any of my blogs, but just update my fanlistings so I don't lose them. I also renewed my domains, so yeah I am still around. Did I mention in one of my last posts, that I closed my YouTube, yes, indeed I did. I definitely did not have time for that anymore. It felt like a chore, a chore I did not want to do anymore. I am sure some of you can relate? Yes, no? Maybe. Well, it was for me, and as I have told others through the years that when it feels like it is a chore and you are not enjoying it anymore, it is time to move on. And that is what I did. I still blog, and I have often said I need to get better with that, and I will. I am not much of a Continue Reading

Is Being Busy An Excuse?

April 5, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

It is for me. I have been so busy, I have not had time to read the Bible. With it being Easter yesterday I decided to spend time reading the Bible. Did I mention I have been reading the Bible? I had to go back and glance at my last post, and yes I have talked about it. The Bible I posted is one I like reading. I love it, it is a beautiful Bible. Since my last post, I have added 4 more Bibles. After researching and visiting a few Christian websites, I learned there are various translations so I became curious. One of my favorite websites is the Blue Letter Bible, I go to it on a regular basis, and they have a smartphone app as well. There is so much content on that website, that it is the only Christian website you will ever need. However, I like to look around through other Christian websites as well. As so many have a lot to offer. I Continue Reading

When Did It Creep Up?

February 16, 2021 by Emily Leave a Comment

Valentine's Day crept up like nobody's business. Before I knew it, it was Valentine's Day. I hope you all had a nice one. I spent mine with my husband, who cooked an amazing meal. He always does! I think ever since COVID hit, things have not felt the same, am I in this boat alone? Well, it was here, and now it is gone. I didn't even decorate, and I love decorating, but it wasn't in me this year. I will probably put a few things out for St. Patrick's Day. Last year I think it was I made 2 cute gnomes for St. Patrick's Day. If I can find a picture I'll post them below. I think they came out cute, my husband liked them. Yesterday (2/15/21) I spent a few hours looking for pictures, and couldn't find them I asked myself "Did I even photograph them?" I had fun looking through old photos though. I found it the following day (2/16/21), it Continue Reading
