Learning To Do Acrylic Nails Will Be Fun!

May 1, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

Well I certainly didn't expect to start May with showers, those are suppose to be for April only hehe. I really didn't expect it to rain today, then again I didn't watch a lot of the news, so I guess that is a bit of a surprise. Currently they have been installing new roof on the entire complex, this past week it was so super loud, but I am happy they moved on to another part of the complex, so we don't have to deal with that noise, we couldn't even leave the house without being escorted, they said they didn't want things falling on us which is understandable. So this past month was full of posts of A to Z I am so glad that is over with. I just felt so pressured to have to do a post everyday, but in some ways I'm glad I did go through with it and didn't quit before the actual challenge ended. I did discover quite a few great blogs I have Continue Reading

Y is for Young Adult #AtoZChallenge

April 28, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

Woo getting closer to the end, I keep saying that don't I? Well it's just to remind you I won't be doing any films unless it's something I really really want to share, then I will. Anyway, yesterday I had said that I wouldn't post about a film I didn't like, so I decided I would, especially because it was hard for me to find a film starting with a Y and I had put this film on my list in case I couldn't come up with anything else. I am a long time fan of Charlize Theron, I love that woman to bits, I tell you. And I always, always watch her films. Well I watched Young Adult a few months ago, and I wasn't happy with what I seen. I was so very very disappointed in the film. I actually thought it would be on the comedy side, but instead it was on the depressing side. I was fooled lol. But as I said, I watch anything she is in, because I am Continue Reading

V for Vendetta, My #AtoZChallenge for Today!

April 25, 2012 by Emily 3 Comments

I remember when I first heard about this film from a friend, and I wasn't too excited about it, so I put it off to watch, as I have a list of must watch films, and a list of films I'll watch if nothing else is interesting to watch, or I'm just plain bored hehe. When I finally got around to watching this film, I was surprised to really have enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I even told myself, why did I put this off, why didn't I give this a chance, well I never was able to answer myself, but at least I got to watch a really good film. If you havne't seen it, then read up, on what this is about, it's a really interesting story, and I know you will be wondering how it ended. I know the synopsis is rather long, but for those that haven't really seen this film, it's really interesting to know why V does what he does :) Be sure to Continue Reading

Freebies! Getting Something For Nothing Is Awesome!

April 22, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I love to get freebies, free stuff, even product samples, why? It's a good way to try things out, instead of buying something full size. Imagine buying something that's expensive, and when you try it you don't like it? What do you do with it? Obviously still use it, well if its detergent or stuff like that, but if it was like lotion or perfume, yuck I wouldn't keep using it, I would give it away. So what better way to get free samples than free samples by mail 2012 or websites that give free samples away such as www.freecatcher.com, they have some awesome samples and freebies there. Oh and who don't like a free movie now and then. Blockbuster gives away a free rental now and then, and what about free movie downloads? Yeah some are actually legally, look at Youtube for instance, they let you watch free movies, some are old, but hey they Continue Reading

S is for Sin City #AtoZChallenge

April 21, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

Well so we are on the letter S on this A to Z Challenge, we are really getting towards the end now. I'm not going to miss it lol. Sticking to a theme was hard, I started to find it boring after awhile, I think going random would of been a lot more fun, could of covered many topics :) Even though I love films and TV shows, I still would of gone random, maybe next time if I do it, next year, I'll go random. So my film today is Sin City. This was a really impressive film, IMHO, I liked the fact it still had the comic book feel to the film. Really loved this one. I had bought the film, but left my film collection in England, and my roommate at the time gave away all my films, yeah I know sad hey? I was pretty upset about that as well, as I had a really super great collection. Anyway so what's this film about you ask? Four tales of crime Continue Reading
