Well so we are on the letter S on this A to Z Challenge, we are really getting towards the end now. I’m not going to miss it lol. Sticking to a theme was hard, I started to find it boring after awhile, I think going random would of been a lot more fun, could of covered many topics Even though I love films and TV shows, I still would of gone random, maybe next time if I do it, next year, I’ll go random. So my film today is Sin City. This was a really impressive film, IMHO, I liked the fact it still had the comic book feel to the film. Really loved this one. I had bought the film, but left my film collection in England, and my roommate at the time gave away all my films, yeah I know sad hey? I was pretty upset about that as well, as I had a really super great collection. Anyway so what’s this film about you ask?
Four tales of crime adapted from Frank Miller’s popular comics, focusing around a muscular brute who’s looking for the person responsible for the death of his beloved Goldie, a man fed up with Sin City’s corrupt law enforcement who takes the law into his own hands after a horrible mistake, a cop who risks his life to protect a girl from a deformed pedophile, and a hitman looking to make a little cash.
The sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is due out in 2013 and I can’t wait for it, hopefully I can get another copy of Sin City before the next one comes out. It sucks it takes time to collect good films, and they just poof disappearing like that, well it’s not fun, it’s sad, upsetting and well grrr lol. Anyway life goes on, collection can be made again. Hope you enjoyed this edition of the A to Z Challenge, see you Monday
I really love bot the books and the movie. the dark Noir look fits the theme and charicters so well. It’s a while since I watched it, time to find which box it’s in.
I enjoyed the movie theme, so many great movies that mean a lot, some fun writing here.
Thanks for sharing
