April Showers In June? Come On, Really?

June 2, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

You know I love April, and May, and I can deal with the showers that come with those months, but June and it's raining? Why? The world is going to end soon I'm telling you!! Or this year the weather is just out of wack! Maybe both lol. I had plans to go out this weekend, but they have been cancelled with the way the weather is, so I put myself to use in the house and rearranged the room, moved this out and this in, that type of deal. I'm happy with it, I still have a few things that need to find a new home. And they shall! Last night I worked on practicing the 'nail' thing, and I'm getting there, it wasn't on my own finger. I figured out a way to make that silly tip stick to the artificial finger, it was being so stubborn. And I hate wasting stuff like glue :P Right so, one of the ladies on YouTube, said to try the actual acrylic to Continue Reading

Incredible Custom Home Architect

May 4, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I have many times wanted to visit Florida, specifically city of Boca Raton, I have heard great things about it. My boyfriends father lives in Florida, not sure what part though, that's a whole other story as to why I don't know lol. But yeah we have had conversations about living there, but honestly I'm not a big fan of humidity, but hey if it's anything like it is here, then I will be fine :) So I told him yeah it would be a good place to retire (not that we are ready for that yet) lol. But it's good to do a little planning. So I told him, it would be amazing to be able to have our very own custom home architect, and have the house designed for us. He thought yeah that would be pretty amazing, so he may be up for it, when the time comes. Imagine having your house built the way you want it, you can even put in a panic room, or a secret Continue Reading

V for Vendetta, My #AtoZChallenge for Today!

April 25, 2012 by Emily 3 Comments

I remember when I first heard about this film from a friend, and I wasn't too excited about it, so I put it off to watch, as I have a list of must watch films, and a list of films I'll watch if nothing else is interesting to watch, or I'm just plain bored hehe. When I finally got around to watching this film, I was surprised to really have enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I even told myself, why did I put this off, why didn't I give this a chance, well I never was able to answer myself, but at least I got to watch a really good film. If you havne't seen it, then read up, on what this is about, it's a really interesting story, and I know you will be wondering how it ended. I know the synopsis is rather long, but for those that haven't really seen this film, it's really interesting to know why V does what he does :) Be sure to Continue Reading

T for The Hunger Games #AtoZChallenge

April 23, 2012 by Emily 3 Comments

Wow I can't believe we are on the T for the A to Z Challenge!!! It's getting close to ending soon, wow this month has truly flown by so quickly. I am looking forward to a lovely spring and wonderful summer, especially going to the Drive In, yeah an actual drive in, do you still go to those, I just recently discovered actual drive-ins over here in Massachusetts, so it's a real treat. When I lived in California, we (our family) used to go to the drive-in every Friday growing up, it was such a treat I tell you. Well speaking of drive-ins and movies, today's film is The Hunger Games, now I haven't seen it yet, I have the book and still haven't read it, shame on me lol. But I really need to get on the ball and read it, as it's not a very long book, I'm excited to read it first. Ok so moving on, what is this film about? In a dystopian Continue Reading

S is for Sin City #AtoZChallenge

April 21, 2012 by Emily 1 Comment

Well so we are on the letter S on this A to Z Challenge, we are really getting towards the end now. I'm not going to miss it lol. Sticking to a theme was hard, I started to find it boring after awhile, I think going random would of been a lot more fun, could of covered many topics :) Even though I love films and TV shows, I still would of gone random, maybe next time if I do it, next year, I'll go random. So my film today is Sin City. This was a really impressive film, IMHO, I liked the fact it still had the comic book feel to the film. Really loved this one. I had bought the film, but left my film collection in England, and my roommate at the time gave away all my films, yeah I know sad hey? I was pretty upset about that as well, as I had a really super great collection. Anyway so what's this film about you ask? Four tales of crime Continue Reading
