I'm excited Al is coming home for 2 days. I know it's a treat, because we don't see each other that often. We talked earlier in the week and had decided on her commuting from here, but now she had been thinking about it and decided that she needs to see how things are at work and the new schedule and all before deciding to commute from here, the train schedules and all. So I can understand her point here. Although she is moving out from the place she is renting the room from in London hopefully to a much nicer group of people. I told her, ask lots of questions! So I hope the best for her there. It really does suck that she can't be at home all the time, but those are the sacrifices for the time being. Hearing Test
I didn't have one, but Al did, I just got off the phone with her and she said that they told her she has some hearing loss in both ears! I think I might have some too, you know how sometimes you are on the phone and you switch from right to left at times, and realize that you can hear better with one than the other, does that mean you got some hearing loss? Maybe huh! It's not too bad, they said she can get hearing aid for about £2000 yikes!! Postponed?
We decided to postpone the trip to Missouri for 6 months. She will be starting work in April, and wants to focus on that since it's a new place she'll be at with in the same department but new location and new staff and all that. Plus we want to catch up on some of the outstanding bills some. And the weather will be nicer by then too. But things can suddenly change as this has. She went out to London yesterday to look at some rooms, since she is going to be working in London she'll need a room there, but her schedule will be better 5 on 5 off, so thats good, she'll be here more than she was last time, I'm happy about that. She did ask me, what should we do if the realtor calls and says it's fine to put a deposit on the house that we were considering, I said well then in that case we will gather our stuff and go to Missouri. WP upgrade!
That didn't take me very long I'm happy to say. But during the upgrade, I did happen to peek outside and the streets are just blanketed with snow, so I couldn't resist and walked outside for a bit and took a few pictures, I even wrote a little message to my partner on the snow and took a picture of that hehe, will post it tonmorrow! Hopefully if I wake up tomorrow early enough I'll be able to take pictures during the day. I love the snow so much, I am so happyI was able to experience snow here in England. We Got Snow!
I got a call from this very sexy woman named Alice, lol. She called me to say, "go look out your window" well she was due into come home at 4 am or is that leave where she was at 4 am, anyway 8 am I get a call and yes it's her and I can tell by her voice that she just had woke up too. She said while she was out of town she wasn't really getting enough rest, so she wanted to spend the night there and wake up early and drive home, but she was sooo tired that she slept through. Well I'd rather her sleep in and have one day more without her than her risk her life driving an hour and a half, while being sleepy, that's not a good combination, besides with the first snow falling sometime between 3 am and 6 am I'm guessing, I'm glad she didn't take the drive here.
