Oh yes, baby! One more day until my birthday ;) wow, it's come so fast, it was just William's birthday not too long ago, and now mine. Then Christmas will be here and then New Years', and before you know it, it'll be Valentine's. Yes, that's how fast it all goes. Gosh, where does the time go? Does time really speed up as you get older? So I woke up this morning groggy as always lol, but then realize it's like 60 something today, although the temperature is supposed to drop. I poked my head out the door as William left for work, and I can feel the warmth in the air, I was like wow! It won't last but it was nice. Happy Thankgiving!
Turkey day, happy gobble gobble day lol, for those of you who do celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving, for those that do not, have a lovely day :) This year I am spending Thanksgiving here with William, we will be making our own Thanksgiving dinner, his first in his home, he's had this house for 4 years and never made a Thanksgiving dinner, so this will be the first and a historical occasion. This will be a whole new experience for both of us. Last year I was at my sisters', and before that the previous 3 years were in England and as you all know they do not recognize our Thanksgiving day, but that is okay, we don't recognize their Guy Fawkes day either, so yeah. Anyway, I found out that William isn't too partial to Pumpkin Pie *the horror* seriously because I love Pumpkin Pie, I make my own, but now what's the point if he won't have any :( Continue Reading
Oh Dear!
Happy September everyone! The days are cooling off yay! Hopefully the days of humidity are over, or have I spoke to soon? Well if I have I'll soon find out :) I know my last post was on the 25th, but I thought about leaving that post up a bit longer, so it's out there. I really liked or should I say Steve's comment made me laugh, he commented about the sound of 'smashed cantaloupe and a broken celery stalk during their crash sequence' interesting how that is the first thing he got out of that video, he did mention that it was 'a little overblown' and you know what Steve, you are right, that is what they wanted, thank you for your comment. Muggy In July
I have settled in Massachusetts, and am happy, the only thing i'm not thrilled about is the humidity, now while in California, we got humid weather there too. I'm not saying it don't. I just feel like complaining about it, and maybe it'll go away lol. Not happening hey? Lol, i didn't think so. It sucks actually. I don't think I can find one person that would be happy that it's humid. I remember when I arrived in London, back in 2005, it was muggy, and I thought, OMG I thought I got away from that lol. NO chance, everyone gets muggyness now and then lol. I learned my lesson lol. I cannot get away from it, perhaps Alaska? lol no I don't think I'll go there, there would be some people that wouldn't be too unhappy with that! Happy Halloween!
I have no real plans for this Halloween, apart from giving candy out lol. BORING!!! haha, maybe next year I'll be in the mood for a Halloween party, and even dress up! Hope everyone has a wicked Halloween and be safe out there too. Not much happening with me, same ole same. In about two weeks I'll be off to California and I am so very excited! See family, and yes the weather would be nice, but I have to say that I love Englands weather, it's just my kind of weather I suppose. I like occasional hot weather but in all honesty I have to say I like the wintery weather more.
